"The living should not envy the dead."
The more I watch of this anime... the more I fall in love with it. This episode was absolutely beautiful.

I love that we're getting right into the thick of things rather than stalling a bit on the slower material. Glenn is already showing glimpses of his former "BOSS" self. The main battle in the next episode is going to be absolutely lit and I hope it gets animated pretty well. Can't wait!
Aw man, this always ends too soon :(
Another hilarious outing by our lovable idiots. I do hope we get more of this in the future as it's definitely one of the best and funniest of it's type out there. It's the kind of show where it feels like everyone involved in creating it is having a blast. It has also (along with Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju) improved my opinion of Studio DEEN massively, to the point where I might not actually assume a series is doomed if it ends up being animated by them (Like S2 of Cool-headed Hoozuki later this year, another comedy anime I really enjoyed).
Bravo. Right in the feels with one last misunderstanding ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) For what we got, this was a fantastic adaptation of the manga and ended on a good part. Loved the umbrella sharing moment and the final song of Cocoro Pallette being played again with (what I believe is) the cast singing it. I need all versions of this song ASAP.
There is also definitely a little more room for an extra OVA to adapt the Nonaka/Usami chapter and some other little parts, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for an announcement on that in the near future. Overall, I enjoyed this one so much this season as feel. really did a spectacular job bringing to life some of my favorite characters in recent memory.
Holy hell, that episode was pretty horrific. No wonder Subaru broke.
Aw, it ends showing you that you were talking to the imaginary image of your stuffed animal. Now that's motivating and not lonely at all!
What a disappointment. Horrible CG. I usually can manage but this was taken to a different level. Like PS2 level. I might consider watching 2 or 3 more but don't think I can get used to it. Why can't the manga have decent adaptions? :(
This was a great episode in terms of the range of emotions shown both between Ushio & Asako during their brief reunion, and between Nagare & Tora during their fight. The action in this episode was superbly animated. However, I just honestly couldn't understand the reasoning behind the whole "Nagare betrayal" act and that conclusion didn't really help things out either. There just was never enough to flesh out the reasons behind Nagare's "betrayal" and maybe there is more content in the manga that makes the audience buy this all a little more.
Anyway, RIP bro. Glad that the "wind finally stopped blowing" (aka stupid reasoning).
Well that was very silly, but very fun. Despite looking like it'd be the usual otaku pandering LN fantasy nonsense, it was self-aware enough to take the piss out of itself and the genre. Not a masterpiece by any means, but definitely entertaining. Glad we're getting a second season. Bravo DEEN!
Damn son. This is what I'm talking about. Way to come back with a god damn BANG. I love that this episode hit the ground running and upped the ante significantly. Altering memories is a bitch move, Hakumen (but well done in this case).
And talk about Mayuko pulling a power move with her indirect Ushio confession to Asako. I need more.
I certainly hope there will be another season of this, since that episode wasn't a last episode at all and everything is still up in the air.
Worst episode so far. Other than for the conveniently placed holes/leaves/branches/etc, this one was a misfire on the comedy side. This one brings down the show's overall rating from a 10/10 to only a 9/10.
Finally finished this mama. It wasn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Chibiusa came back around from her Black Lady phase and the last few episodes were pretty solid (except for my precious Pluto). It took a while to get to the end but it was alright. I'll definitely keep up with the next season.
So dank. I love that they introduced the 3 other girls this early on (especially the loli goth). Rory is easily the best girl by far. That was a nice battle as well with good contributions from all the characters. I can't wait for what's to come.
Ok. Noa may be one of the best girls. She be awesome and so f'n cute. Her at the end with Yamada was just...
However, this was the first episode where I thought that things really did get rushed (it was starting to get that way in the last one). I guess that I'll have to see what happens in the next episode to be sure of that. I'm slowly catching up in the manga so I'm getting some extra parts filled in. I think that the show has done as good of a job as it could so far.
Of course they had to do the edgy ending. I'm glad it's finally over, that "powerful people" arc they teased would have been even more dreadful to watch.
I fucking hate Michelle. Always playing these little games, like a 15-year old girl. Grow up, woman!
This is getting boring.
I don’t know what Nathan is planning here.
Overall, the concept didn’t click with me. Seems like a Nathan for You for people —situations in their lives, rather than business (like the last episode of that series)— while deepens the lore around Nathan itself, it’s image as a super self aware person, with profound anxiety by what others thinks about him.
Anyway, it’s great to see a Nathan show again. I hope this series turns out to be a success.
entire story is told by exposition - acting is terrible too
Dan is WAY overreacting to seeing his dad in the footage.
And who tries to steal mail? WTF? Not only is it a felony, but the likelihood of you getting anything other than junk mail is very low. What possible reason would there be to steal a random piece of mail? So stupid! And then why would you film yourself trying on clothes? Nobody else cares and it isn't part of your research. Then she films walking into the theater. Holy cow is that weird. Melody is a moron and a creep.
So other than the fact I still like the storytelling and style, this episode had pretty much no plot. Yes, it was weird, but really not that interesting. There were a few key nuggets of information, but hardly enough to full 5 minutes, let alone an entire episode. I really want to like this series, but Netflix is making it really hard.
A little rushed and not very satisfying end to a really good season.
I have just one question: Why ?!?
The Episode is enjoyable but doesn't belong in this Show!
This and last episode are gorier than I thought. I like it
This show is such a fn drag, man. There should have been 6 episodes this season, tops. It's like a moebius strip.
Why am I watching this? I do not like it. I do not understand the hype. This episode feels like a rehash of Hill House and I didn’t even like it back then.
This is going worse and worse...
I usually like this kind of thing, killer playing mental games with protagonist, being philosophical and doing diabolical stuff, but I didn't like it here.
Seizaki doesn't call anyone of his colleages when he get's the message from Megasu and before he opens the link. He also doesn't record his PC screen, nor uses his phone's camera. No one believes him, but he doesn't about evidence. He continues to be a pretty dense character. He should be a lot smarter.
Megasu's speech was pretty shallow. This kind of speech and line of thinking were done before in other anime, shows, movies. Here was just done ok.
In some ways this anime is similar to Monster. The protagonists and antagonists have some things in common, but in Babylon they are really dumbed-down.
We'd better not have to wait another 13 years to find out what happens next!
