Bit of an uninspired story for a first episode. No twists, no jokes. Graphics were good.
This was quite a let down. So Dean battles countless demons, vampires, deities, literal God and the Devil...and he gets got by a rusty spike in an old barn?? I wouldn't say it was on the level of Game of Thrones bad; this finale was more a weak effort rather than terrible. Mind you, the final season has been a bit so-so, with the second half being particularly sub par. The concept of them all ultimately ending up in Heaven is a nice one, although arguably unnecessary for the show's finale; the fact they did this feels a bit "and that's that, guys, we're not having any spin-offs or films". Personally, I think they'd have been better off fleshing out and properly crafting last week's plot across a double episode and giving it chance to breathe, while also bringing back a few familiar faces like Crowley and Rowena to help see off Chuck, who I feel were sorely missed from the show's final outing(s).
Lets be true here i expected more from this show after 15 Years but i knew it would end in such a way. Never realy liked the "Angel Thing" anyways the first season where the best and the randome hunting episodes ^^.
Funny thing i thought the opposite to much monster in the last episodes and not a ghost town xD.
And also hated it they never gave us a real normal life for the boys with wife and kids and so on leraning them hunting.....
The last episode is to short for such stuff hope there will be a movie or so.
This may have been the most boring tv episode I have ever watched. This season was like, ok, we don't want to do this show anymore lets wrap it up as quick as possible, but the last episode lets just have everyone sit around and talk.
1st episode was decent.
Hopefully they lay off all the feminist / SJW garbage and focus more on story & character building.
Sadly it's difficult to find new shows that aren't ruined with the "woke" bullshit.
I'm going to give the show another chance but I fear it will continue with the agenda and die an early death.
The opening was fantastic but the rest of the episode sent me right the fuck to sleep. The closing scene gave me back some hope though so I guess we'll see if this'll be another AHS season I skip or not.
sooooooo... what was the point of madmax' cancerous family? like seriously?
Nooooooooooooooooo they killed Chad! Now I have 50% less reasons to watch this!
Worst episode so far. Other than for the conveniently placed holes/leaves/branches/etc, this one was a misfire on the comedy side. This one brings down the show's overall rating from a 10/10 to only a 9/10.
this episode doesn't have nearly enough lazily written exposition
Goddamn junkie dreams. So boring.
As if I needed more reasons to drop this boring show.
Consider this:
You wake up in a room. You are bound together with a guy on a chair, back to back. There is a door and a control panel located at one end of the room, a corrugated plastic sheet on the other. What would you do to escape?
A) Try to shift over to the door, headbutt the console and yell for help in the corridor.
Or
B) Anything else.
Yes, you can't make this shit up.
"It must be because of this rare skill, which I've never heard of before!"
Fucking dropped.
Would love to be a fly on the wall to witness the negotiations requiring ‘based on the series True Detective by Nic Pizzolatto’ to be in the credits
This was actually going decent... until that cheap predictable twist.
5 minutes of Boyd > hours of this Raylan
Yeah you know you're not getting renewed when you're not invited to the after parties. Lol.
Starts out promising, but falls flat when it becomes an unoriginal ghost story.
Where Supernatural very much seems to be the Generation X of this franchise, this seems to be very much the Millennial spin off - set a generation before Sam & Dean.
Check an all inclusive barrage using stuff from the "later" seasons of Supernatural (such as the Men of Letters)
Going from point a to b to c to d to find and open the mystery box all while talking about feelings complete with quiet guitar music. The actual plot flies by but the scenes connecting them drag on relentlessly.
I saw someone call this the Scooby Doo version of Supernatural and after seeing the van I can agree with that. Except Scoobs and the gang didn't spend this much talking about their feelings. Sure, it's the pilot and time will tell but atm they'll have to step up their game to keep me interested - and I can't even guess how they will avoid 15 years of canon.
Just another “Twilight Zone” rip-off
As always, the opening title/credits sequence is the best part of this show.
That was really bad... Season 1 bad
I don’t know what Nathan is planning here.
Overall, the concept didn’t click with me. Seems like a Nathan for You for people —situations in their lives, rather than business (like the last episode of that series)— while deepens the lore around Nathan itself, it’s image as a super self aware person, with profound anxiety by what others thinks about him.
Anyway, it’s great to see a Nathan show again. I hope this series turns out to be a success.
this might be my least favorite episode of all time. None of the jokes worked, super boring episode.
entire story is told by exposition - acting is terrible too
simple premise, single location...one of the better/best episodes of this entire series, imo
