Great season ending with lots up in the air. Love that Ted Wass plays her Dad in the episode - the same actor who played her dad in Blossom!
Love the first episode - drama, mystery & laughs! Hoping this will continue as I'm hooked for the next episode!
His mother is completely in denial. Sadly, she'll probably continue to believe him. It was crazy to see how what he did followed the movie Basic Instinct. He couldn't be an actor, so he created a real life movie where he's the star.
For real, they say that Michael C's outfits aren't sporty enough, but April's were in the top and had no sportiness whatsoever... What the hell! Who's wearing April's looks after the gym or to run to the store? Ridiculous.
Yet again, Bria is a crazy controlling b****! Such drama and jealousy. And he continues to entertain it! Wow, learn from your mistakes.
Just the first episode and I'm seriously annoyed by Bria - she is crazy, possessive, jealous, and she only knew the guy for hours...
Just catching up on the season and I'm so sad that Babs has passed. She fought hard. She was such a sweet person as well as sassy and funny. Condolences to the Thore family.
OMG! Wow! Crazy! I have no words... What?!!!
Seriously, does the Innocence Project lady really believe the stuff she's saying?... I agree with Alina in that Jane, who was so afraid of the water, that she wouldn't stand up in a speeding boat - it makes no sense. She may not have been beaten but his actions show that he was reckless and not really concerned, and I believe he wanted her dead - I agree with the jury foreman.
It's ironic how parents raise their kids with no rules then wonder why they are disrespectful and behaving the way they are. :unamused:
Really sad that Nuri didn't make it - been rooting for him from the beginning. :disappointed:
I cannot even imagine what she went through losing all 3 daughters at once and by the hand of their own father. The terror those little girls must have felt... My heart aches for those poor babies. And the police department not even investigating afterward, shame on them. There should have been some serious repercussions for that! Then the courts telling her they are allowed their own discretion on whether or not to enforce an order of protection... what's the purpose of getting one if there's no protection under the law?!!! Shame on the courts too. She was definitely a determined woman and mother to get the laws changed.
I love the example of the McCoy family - a single mom with disciplined parenting - that is exactly how I raised my son as a single parent, and he is a wonderful, loving, happy, giving, and hardworking young man. I'm not perfect and I learned some along the way. I appreciate some of the other families ways with their children too - much can be learned from discussion and advice with practical application to help children to navigate the world. It is our job as parents to help them to be in the world as adults. This show will hopefully help many other parents.
Ashley is just so tacky - wearing lingerie to her dates, but she wants someone to not want her for her body... Please. Allyssa is such a fake person, can't stand her, super annoying.
Her family is so controlling and ridiculous - self-centered, everything is about them. Her trauma is real and they make it about them. She should be free of them and their controlling toxicity.
Jessika is a well-spoken, intelligent woman - the type of woman most people would believe couldn't be abused by a man. In reality, there is no certain type as any woman can be abused physically and/or emotionally. "Dr. Jeff" is scum, a narcissistic sociopath. How the hell was he acquitted TWICE of multiple rapes?... Rape can occur between people who are dating or married. Blaming the victim(s) is reprehensible. It took a 3rd time to convict him & there was finally justice.
What a seriously awful tragedy... Too many innocent people dead. There should be something more that can be done when someone is obviously mentally unstable.
I'm just bawling right now... That poor young boy. I hope more young people talk to their parents and not to strangers on the internet. I also really hope all parents watch shows like this and become aware of what's going on with their kids!
Yet another reason for gun control. The guy went psycho, yet still was able to get another gun. He terrorized and attacked innocent children and adults, and for what? Another senseless tragedy...
A vile & evil narcissistic sociopath who wore the mask of a Christian father, husband & son.
Dennis was in the wrong from the get-go. I don't believe that Angela's daughter would lie about something like that & why would he defend him or even want him around his girls. He went way too far with the signs, the crazy fence, scaring off people, etc. Seriously, it didn't need to go that far... What a great example to his daughters. Angela & the neighbors didn't help either. All of them were not showing the children how to behave.
One of the saddest cases I remember.
Wow! Not one of the children are his... I feel for those kids. They lost everything & then to find out their father isn't their biological father...
Another bullshit sentence - 13 years for killing someone... WTF?! I never understand how some people's lives are worth a longer sentence than others... Makes no sense.
The real-life event portrayed in this episode was made into a movie called 'Stolen by My Mother: The Kamiyah Mobley Story'. Gloria really screwed up all their lives especially her "daughter's". I hope Alexis is getting counseling to deal with everything.
What a smug POS! He's totally guilty with all that evidence & still saying he didn't do it. Wow... Such a tragedy. She lost her life for nothing. I truly feel for her parents. I also have to say that finding out he was the killer was a twist.
15 years for killing his own mother?!! What a travesty of justice...
I truly believe the daughters, especially when their mother said that she was relieved after their father (her ex) committed suicide. Who says that? I feel that she is selfish & everything is about her. She married for money & had an affair. She manipulated her lover to kill her husband. I also believe she's been using manipulation/ guilt on her daughters all their lives. She is where she belongs.
What a betrayal for someone working for the fire department to be a serial arsonist. They definitely don't know how many were ones that he set. I'm glad he got life for those people who died! What an awful tragedy especially for the little boy. :sob:
I'm so glad that forensics can also exonerate someone who may seem guilty. Also, I didn't know that gas was sometimes used in the 70's to thin out polyurethane on wood floors just to save money! What an idiotic thing to do in a house where people will live for decades!
