Everyone should watch this show to learn tricks of catfishes
Dare I say best show on tv?
Dont listen to the haters, this show is actually pretty good with the nice occasional crossover from the parent show
It takes time for actors to settle into their characters.... If there is a second season, we will know if we will be able to count on a 3rd.
Theory
I think Ben's target is the Bar from S05E22: Mirror Image of the original Quantum Leap project.
In the series finale episode, Al left him at the Bar to figure out what's happening and why the Bar was weird… as per Sam's explanation to him. After that, they never met again.
So, officially, Sam's was marked as 'lost in time' and 'never went home'. But Ben and Al's daughter probably have a theory where to start their search, and that is the Bar, the last known location Al saw Sam.
The only question is, was not that why the Quantum Leap project was restarted? To find and rescue Sam? If so, don't they have a record of Sam's last known location?
It is starting to appear, as of Episode 3, that Al hid the information about the Bar from the records, and years later his daughter figured it out and she convinced Ben to do it her way -- reach the Bar and start their search from there.
This is an interesting twist. Why? If Quantum Leap 2.0, or at least Ben, learns that they can leap whenever and wherever the Leaper wants, it can open up a whole new different plot for this sequel. Instead of it being 'random', they can start adding stories about a real attempt to change the past … and Ben will struggle between following the orders of the Pentagon or fighting back.
It will also open an opportunity to explore what the "Mirror Image" series finale episode hinted at, there are other Leapers.
With that knowledge about Leapers actually controlling their leaps, would it not be amiss if the Pentagon doesn't make use of the opportunity [to start a Temporal (Cold) War]?
Then we have Ben, and his team, trying to correct or stop them?
I loved the original. Whatever this show does they need to get Bakula and bring Beckett home.
I love the references to the original series' characters so it's a continuation and not a reboot, which I'm very happy about. I love the mystery & open-ended questions. I love the original - one of my favorite shows. This show is really good.
don't compare it to original series. this one is good
The 2022 series is as good as the original QL and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
Please please please don’t suck!!!
Hilarious show, laugh every episode. Love it! — so, of course, stupid NBC canceled it...
It’s very funny and fresh how they manage to make fun of every “political side”, highly recommend it
Hilarious show, love it - so, of course, stupid FOX canceled it... Not sure why...
Another funny show that got cancelled... :unamused:
It sucks that FOX didn't renew this. Was it groundbreaking? No. But I loved the chaotic energy the 3 leads had and it was quite addictive actually.
Really good show, love the military aspect and the humor. I like it, so, of course, stupid CBS canceled it...
Do you like Chuck Lorre shows? You may enjoy this one. It is not nearly as funny as his bigger hits, but it does scratch that itch. Good for background / passive television viewing. It is shame that it got dropped after the second season, but as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, Chuck Lorre will have another CBS sitcom before long.
Average Season Review: 7.25/10
Recommendation: Watch If You Need Content (For Chuck Lorre Fans)
This is a funny show and I like it, so, of course, stupid CBS canceled it...
People should really give this a chance. It is a much better CBS sitcom than normal and once the show finds its footing it is very enjoyable!
:heart:x7
This is a delightful, fun show.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
OK, stupid CBS canceled this show along with a few other good ones — but it's MOVING to NBC - they picked it up for 2 more seasons, 10 episodes each!!!
I love this show !! why do they have to cancel awesome shows #E#Erinbrockovich :rage::purple_heart:
So far so good....got a Boston Legal vibe (episode 1)
After seeing the full season I think the network is mad cancelling this show.
IMHO it was brilliant. Absolute brilliant cast and the script great.
I liked the “case” in the end and had possibilities.
I would like to have seen the characters and relationships develop more.
Hopefully another network will pick it up.

This is one of the funniest shows on parenting young kids that I've ever seen. It's a little bit dated now, but still quite funny as you rewatch it in endless reruns on TBS. Pity that more people didn't watch it when it was still on network TV because then it could have lasted a couple more seasons. Same creator of this show did the also-funny "My Name is Earl" & "Raising Hope". Look for most of these actors in cameo roles in those other series.
Another good show cancelled. I don't undertand network execs. I guess I'll have to go and watch the Argentine version instead. Hope it's as good. No Tricia Helfer though, that will definitely be a drawback.
This show had so much potential but alias it has been cancelled!
as a person who loved fringe
this show here, looks to be coming to fill that hole after they finished fringe
so far, 3 episodes watched and im enjoying.
we never know what strange things will happen and the side story with one of the main characters looks to be the main plot on this first season on my opinion
you should watch!
Love this show. Smarter and more intriguing than most of the things on TV - and with a lot more lovable characters. I do NOT understand why it wasn't renewed! :(
