Uhhhhh I had dinner while watching this one.. big mistake. That was disgusting.
Good for the show to still be able to be extreme.
At the time of reviewing this, S2 hasn't come out yet.
Beacon is a very weird Scifi show, nothing very familiar we've seen before. It's extremely slow burn.
I have a major problem with the editing of the show. Very often I felt like while watching the show I missed 1-2-3 minutes of it because scenes don't feel connected to on another! And that is very annoying.
For me, the payout at the end of the season is not at all worth the journey to arrive to it.
I'd say wait for reviews of S2 to see if they take on S1 issues properly before getting into this.
As a standalone season, I DO NOT recommend watching it.

This is really the best thing around since a long time ago.
If you're a MacFarlane fan - it's a must for you but actually by reading this review you've already seen it.
But if you're just wondering here - it's great even so.
It's funny (I laughed here and I don't remember the last time I laughed from TV)
It's honest,
It's NOT a cliche , the script is original and counter intuitive to other shitty cheap shows,
And best thing-
ITS NOT WOKE AT ALL!!!! ZERO!!! Every character is there because it fits the story and not to fill up some policy!
This shows give me a sliver of hope for TV and especially American TV.
Thank you for this.
Giorgia is so fun, she's a charming actor, and a just beautiful person.
Highly recommended.
Thankfully we have Mads Mikkelsen who aces every project he's in, and non-hollywood studios to save us from endless American sh*t spewing films.
I walked into this just based on the actors, didn't know anything before, and found a Beautifully done film with a rich story about a long struggle with lots of hardships, high stakes and emotions.
Bravo.
Highly recommended.
As brutal as they cone
As brutal as they come
Old guys killing millennials, what's not to love?
So basically nowadays if you're currently employed as a Bee keeper/Brick Layer/Pancake Flipper that automatically means you're an ex CIA employee.
Seems they don't have the best retiree plans...
That FBI woman was the worst she should have died
bombshell of a season, although different than S1, very recommended! This show is a great example for many FEMALE leads on the show WHO ARE NOT GAY AND LAME CHICS!
I hoped to get some anti woke sharp strikes but all that was delivered was sad and dull bitching about whatever happened a million years ago with no jokes in a shaky performance. not sharp, not funny, no fun. "No subject off limits" but no subject on topic. dont watch.
So basically once again a drunken Tyrion Lannister send a Snow to the night's watch?
To this day I hear S4 still hasn't found a home to be broadcasted at, so we might as well regard this episode as series finale.
aside from Melanie acting as the dumbest character on the train this episode, the series finale was ok and I'm taking it at face value. Especially seeing a "new mysterious enemy" firing rockets - I find it hard to believe it'll be a good storyline so maybe it's ok we won't get to see it.
So I'll just say my goodbyes here - farewell snow piercer, you were ok with us.
This movie is a prequel to The Handmaid's Tale.
If you watch it thinking so, it makes much more sense.
They don't do moving like this one anymore they don't. Now It's all bullshit woke TikTok millennial idiotic stuff.
Better treat this one as a better than average softcore erotic flick than a mediocre scifi one.
It's mostly pretty girls and so-so actors. Not recommended.
But hey - all white actors at least no wokeness at all!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
From the bottom of my heart, I wish we never had you.
Meg's storyline was just great
It's not a "good" movie but it's very nice and quite easy for an action movie. Also, not very much action here, so lite on that too.
Good for easy Neeson fans. Don't expect much of it and won't be disappointed.
Sad but true.
Loved it
When Craig opened the door there right at the end, I was getting ready to see meat packing factory's butcher meat pieces hanging from the ceiling  (referencing https://trakt.tv/shows/seinfeld/seasons/8/episodes/3  )
Wow, some ending.
although I'm not sure how happy it was. I'm not that sure that Prince was that evil that had to be stopped so badly, especially looking as who might be his opponents (Trump and friends), they destroyed a betrayed him completely by abusing power and all the while exploiting a huge inside information trading illegal knowledge to hugely benefit from that. So painting them as "The good guys" isn't very correct. Maybe better at being worst.
Great flick, especially if you're one of those <1988 who "got liberated". Bill Burr in his loud mothy truths.
America has lost itself to over self rightouness. A generation of weak woke hand lotion users who don't know nothing about the world outside of a TikTok feed. Oh America, how doomed you are.
I didn't understand anything
One of the most boring episodes they had. Snoozeeee.
I feel season 4 has lost the charm, humbleness and spirit of S1, 2. It now feels like some over compensation poster to Me too or so, by having all the male characters act like useless imbeciles who can't put their socks on only to be saves by their respective female. This Mark character went from being lovely, charming and respectful mam just few episodes ago, to the laziest written dumb Duhh douchebag Hollywood stereotype.
This kind of aggressive shift of writer policies is simply disrespectful to the show and the characters. Thumbs down.
Uhhhh such heavy episode, took me 4 sittings to watch it, just wanted it to be overrrrrr
I must say, first ep was... boring. I'll give it another chance with another ep, hopefully it will pick up.
While this movie has great production value, good talent and the plot synopsis promisee great potential, the movie is overall underwhelming and did not make an impact on me. I'm a huge fan on war films genre, but this one is quite forgettable unfortunately.
6/10.
Simply a must for everyone who loves Ricky, Louis CK and that bunch. Not much of a laughing out loud comedy but great ideas here. Great pic.
