3 seasons of blacklist is more than enough. /out
I couldn't make it thru this series due to Moses Ingram's terrible acting skills. It was just too much to endure.
Wow, it has Sam Neil and a Plot which can go in either direction.
This is either going to be awesome or total crap...
Syfy where all good ideas go to die.
Guess it's good for families with small teenagers, but I wouldn't recommend it for grownups. Great effects though.
It has a big emphasis on family drama. If you're into that you'll probably enjoy it, but honestly I think it doesn't come anywhere close to the likes of Expanse.
The violence, the class, visuals, audio, psychology and Hannibal's mind control. It is so beautiful I want to cry. I wish I could go back in time and see it for the first time again so I could cry from the psychological and eye candy this show brings. In my crazy head this places as #1 and best show I've ever seen even above Breaking Bad.
If you have kids and you were not born with 'I know everything and I won't make any mistakes' attitude then this is a series for you. Most of these mistakes are insane if you aren't a parent... If you are, it's everyday life pretty much.
The funniest, most original thing I've seen in a long long time man. These two are superb. They are brilliant at what they do. They've completely changed my mind about improv. A true gem indeed!
After watching the whole first season*, I can sort of see the themes they tried to go for... but nothing solidifies, and there are no payoffs in the conclusion. This sort of undermines the whole story, since we are really just following a bunch of characters who are all just really bad people. Would have needed either likeable characters, or a story that actually is thought out.
*) It was a chore, I don't recommend it.
The fact that Janice lived just spoiled it for me. She is the epitome of an obnoxious know it all who just can’t help but get in her own way. It would have absolutely served her right to have died.
Absolutely jaw-dropping. I waited until all 10 episodes were available and watched them consecutively. Had I watched the show in weekly intervals I probably would have agreed with the majority of other viewers and lost interest. But I implore you to give it a chance. It’s quite unlike anything else. 10/10.
That Moses is such a bad actress, damn. I get so bored. Aren't there any good actors left?
They shouldn't give parts only because they are black. They should be good actors!
This is not as bad as some of the comments here. I don't know what people are expecting to get from a show like this. Meaning of life? That's 42 btw.
If you like "The IT Crowd" or even "The Orville" you will enjoy this show.
Terrible. Seen reality shows better scripted than this piece of garbage
edited after episode 7:
I think that the connection to the Superman franchise is pulling the show down. If this was a generic Sci Fi show I would give it passing grade.
The show had its ups and downs through its season, but the final two episodes were game changers and made up for every little bad thing. The show is amazing and can't wait for next season.
This is a show that plays in the vein of "finally getting minority voices on television." There's chuckle moments and the cast has chemistry, but the perspective isn't necessarily "new." It's like long-form observational comedy more than anything else. If you're a fan of Aziz you'll get what you expect, but it's not particularly gripping, so to speak. A mash-up of millennial sensibilities and awkward situations, but even trying to recall "moments" from the show, I sort of draw a blank. That usually tells me all I need to know about a show. You won't knock it for trying, but you're not going to call home about it. Edit: The 2nd season turns up the charm and makes for more memorable moments.
Convoluted. Full of plot holes and nonsensical decisions. Doesn't actually answer any of the questions that it raises. It had so much promise as well. Such a shame.
Fantastic thriller. For those who like to be spoon fed mind-numbing high-octane violence, action, explosions etc, this isn't for you. For the rest of us, welcome to the wonderful world of acting and drama. The accents are, mostly, genuine or very well done. The Northern Irish accent can be difficult to follow if you're not used to hearing it. Good to see a show set in Northern Ireland in which the troubles are not a major concern.
This is the "Prometeus school of little space explorer" all over again.
They have the technology, they have the know-how, but for some reason they put the worst possible people in charge of the most important mission of human history.
It's like NASA put highschoolers inside Apollo 11.
Why writers can't write a good sci-fi show without making people complete incompetents?
I miss SG1
The first few episodes start off a bit shakey and a lot of the characters initially start off a bit dense and/or one dimensional. I would urge you to give it another go and get through a couple of episodes. After that, this show proves it is entirely worthy of the score and praise it gets.
I must say that it is only 4 episodes, very easy to watch and it is not common sci-fi, maybe a bit "hardcore" no CGI no battles no nothing, pure mystery and psychological states. I'm torn about the ending, for sure i didn't want the common alternative but this was little underwhelmed. Nice watch.
Easily one of the most uncomfortable watches of the year. A test on your patience, empathy and digestion capabilities. Such a personal story, straddling a very red line that divides trauma and unnerving the viewer. Undecisive about whether liking it or not, but I applaud the boldness.
