Pattinson is the best Batman ever.
he is so tortured, his emotions are sincere. He's the darkest and most precise batman out there.
the visuals and the soundtrack are incredible and take you into the thoughts of the character.
For me it’s a masterpiece.
Severely overrated film. Aged horribly because of the way it was filmed, acting isn't great, the story is severely unrealistic and it's pretty darn boring to be honest.
I really don't see why this gets so much love.
I just want to thank the cinema gods for this absolute dream. It feels like I passed out and when I came to I could remember a very good and satisfying Batman film.
Definitely Marvel's best film so far. I enjoyed every single minute of it.
You know what, pretty decent! Its not exactly aimed towards adults so with that in mind, pretty decent!
Only in the most vague way is this related to Train to Busan. This is a zombie movie based in South Korea set 4 years after the outbreak we saw in Train to Busan. I can admit that Seoul Station wasnt that good either, but at least they tried even with the choppy animation.
But here they go full ham on terrible, terrible CG and law-breaking physics. 4 years of disuse and the cars work, the roads are totally clear, there is electricity and functioning machinery. It just can't be.
This movie is clearly targeted towards fans of the original because there are some lines in English, awful awful cheesy dialogue that belittles the experience of living in a zombie infested wasteland and just contextually makes no sense at all.
And everyone in this movie is ugly and mentally insane. I liked Captain Seo, great character that makes sense, but Hwang is just bad to be bad. The military went full evil and now they're doing death matches. You also can't start a movie with heart wrenching scenes and expect us to care about the characters. Motivation for the main group also isn't really developed or explained and only really is justified by a flashback or singular line here and there.
All the English casting also makes no sense. I just can't understand why this film was made this way.
Large sections of the movies are completely in CG, they're actually awful and they look so bad. Skip this film, it just ain't worth it.
Bloody lovely! Action from the get go. Explosions, blood splatters, crashes. Lots of humour. Great soundtrack. Super performances from Ryan Reynolds and Ben Hardy. Enjoyed from start to finish.
Definitely not the greatest movie ever made, but if you want some nice action with a pinch of comedy this is worth a watch. Just don't expect too much from the story.
It's so much fun. It knows what type of movie it is and delivers. The story kept me on my toes. The ensemble cast is terrific. Chris Evans having a blast playing an asshole, Ana de Armas is great, and Daniel Craig playing a detective with a funny accent is a treat. I want to see this again knowing the plot so I can look for all the subtle foreshadowing.
After a rewatch I am even more impressed with how good the script is and how much is set up and paid off. This one is of the better movies of the year.
It was OK. Overrated, but worth a watch if you're a zombie fan. Not as good as the original. There's still enough Romero present with humour and intense character decisions. It doesn't say anything deeper than just being a basic zombie movie but the ending was some good action.
Seoul Station is awesome!
Train to Busan is great!
Peninsula is just garbage!
Very disappointed with this, out of sync with the prequels in pace and style, bloated with horrible CGI.
I never asked for this pain.
In this adaptation, Light screams like a girl. That's all I can say.
Funnier than I thought it would be. Just don't take it too seriously.
A totally inspiring movie that nearly makes you cry near the end.
Such a wonderful heartfelt inspiring story about a minority teen with gifted athletic talent who has no home, whom is then adopted by a upper class family who propels him into stardom. The plot development is played out really well and it’s certainly entertaining with its twists and turns.
This is undoubtedly one of the best inspirational movies that have ever been made.
This is one of my all-time favourite movies, it's so suspenseful with small comedic aspects throughout which makes it such a joy to watch. I don't know why the rating is so low and people give this movie a bad rap, for a 2004 flick it's done incredibly well and is very entertaining!!
I dont know why people hate this movie, i loved it. Its a good action movie with a bunch of actors that we know...not the best movie ever but surely entertainable for 1,5 hours
All i can say is , Long Live The Legend ! Great Movie , Great Acting , most of all Great Cast to begin with.
I recently re-watched 'Die Hard' this Christmas break and seeing what Bruce Willis is doing these days is really depressing.
Also, did you know he filmed all his scenes in one day, again. No joke.
Whoever said Bruce Willis hasn't made a bad movie has obviously not watched this pile of garbage.
The parodies are embarrassing, the jokes are sleazy and the dancing is painful.
An absolute utter disappointment. I was so hyped for this movie because Train to Busan is in my opinion a 10/10 zombie movie but this is just utter shit. If you want more korean zombies after Busan just watch #Alive (which is okay) or the show Kingdom (fucking amazing). Skip this one.
The CG in this is fucking abysmal.
Well shame on me for being excited with the trailer in the first place. It is a Snyder movie after all. The premise is good, but the rest is trash.
purnell should be dead in this movie... annoying as fuk..the music not suitable at all..stupid ending..i guess this is why they aren't in cinema
Zach Snyder sure has a knack for make boring movies … too long, stupid subplots, sooo fucking slow paced.
One of the worst movies I've had the displeasure of seeing
Acting was probably the only relatively decent thing about the movie. Most of the actors did a good enough job of it
The writing was laughably stupid. I could write a novel with a list of all the plot holes and unexplained events that happen here. The dialog is legitimately terrible at times. The characters behave wildly inconsistently making absolutely brain dead decisions at almost every single moment of the movie. You'd think a zombie movie would have interesting zombies but they're overwritten and somehow overacted. This is nowhere close to being a simple zombie heist movie as was advertised. There's too much going on with so many unnecessary subplots and forced emotional moments trying their hardest to make this a serious movie. The humor is just more crap to the pile that's done poorly
The movie looks awful too. At least with Snyder you sort of think that you'll get a visual spectacle. So many scenes look blurry and out of focus and some of the CGI is legitimately ugly. As is on-brand for Snyder, none of the music is in any way subtle
All in all, this is a Snyder show and it's evident that the guy is a hack who can't write or direct and has continually failed upwards consistently. It's overly long at 2.5 hours which could just as easily have been a more digestible 1.5 hours. And all of it wasted on some of most disgusting, unpalatable writing I've seen in a movie
Shockingly bad. Doesn't even live up to Netflix's dumb but fun movie standards. Needlessly long tedious watch with bad writing, bad dialogue, bad acting, and very boring characters.
