To be honest, the animation is nice, there's a huge work made with it and the sounds choices, the technique is good. But the story is boring as fuck and way too long for what it is, ok it's poetic blah blah blah but tooo looong! I don't understand all the critics that says that it is insane and one of the bests, for me all these critics sound so fake. After finishing watching it, I had the feeling of having lost my time. It would have been better in a short film format. Not worth it to watch, I advice just to watch to enjoy the animation but not the story, and no need to watch till the end just to see how the guy lost his hand and tries to seduce the girl --> lost it with a wood engine, work he has started because he was stalking the girl and her uncle is the owner that's it.
I think this is my favorite animated show of the decade ! I have never really been a League of Legends player, I started playing when Jinx was released, played a few and then stopped. When I saw they did a show about LoL, I thought that I wouldn't really be into it because I wasn't in the game, but I was soo wrong.. Whether it is for the story, the animation or even the music, every single second of it is a masterpiece. I don't even have the words to describe how I feel, the strong impression it left me, I can't stop thinking about it. All the characters have a lot of subtilities and depth, you can understand they past stories and their choices, even a second plan character can make you feel interests, empathy. The universe they created is complex and you want to know more about it. I know I said it before but the animation is really flawless. I am so thankful for the huge work the Fortiche studio made, in the writing, animation, sound, everything ! (also I'm a little bit proud because it's a French studio haha, so happy that they created something like that).
I think my favorite part in this show is when Jinx is creating Hex tech in her lab while listening to her own theme music that was released at the beginning of the creation of the character in the game hahaha, with Silco's reacting as a real father, it was funny, loved it ! You can feel the evolution of your beliefs about the character, when the music was released I was like "oh my God she's so crazy and don't give a f about anything, she's so funny I love her!" and after finishing Arcane it hit me different, I though "wow... that's sad, I would like to help her".
Anyway, best show of the year year and more, even if you don't like animated stuff, video games or I don't know, WATCH ARCANE, you can't imagine what you're missing.. It's unique :sparkling_heart:
I loved this show, one of my favorites, the characters feels so real, the music is incredible, the story is nice, the only reason I gave a 9 and not a 10 it's because I felt that there could have been more precisions around the main lines.. Despite this, I definitely recommend Cowboy Bebop !
It's not an incredible story but it's the way that it is tell that is, and it is magnificent. Lovely characters, a journey that makes you want to go too. I loved the mix with the Edo epoch and hip-hop culure.
The fights are nice and the soundtracks super cool, they gave me chills.
Some people could be disappointed with the end but for me, it's a part of the beauty of this anime, it reflects the reality of life and the bonds you create with people at a certain time of your life. You can let your mind raving thinking of what life's path kept for them.
A nice and beautiful story.
This show will always stick in a part of me, the story is nice and the development of the character very well managed, my favorites are Zuko and his uncle but I like the others too haha. I recommend you to watch it, no matter how old you are.
Wow, it kept me bated breath all along... I'm impressed how well this is written to keep you in suspense and surpise you while you know what will inevitably happening... Once I saw the first episode I just couldn't stop to watch, it's addictive haha. Also, very nice transitions and camera moves, it was very appreciable ! One of the best shows I've seen this year, thank you Marc Cherry !
I've been watching this serie since the begining, it's nice, funny, short episodes so you don't have to spend a lot of time to enjoy, It ends well you don't stay on your hunger. Thank you for this little journey at the good place :) .
Very nice anime with attaching and good characters, I loved the story and the music.I spent a fantastic time watching it, I'll have great memories in my head which will stuck inside for a long time, I don't regret to having click on int and tried the adventure !
My first animes I watched were Death Note Naruto and FMA, a bunch of years ago now. When I finished them I just had this very special and indescriptive feeling that run through/fill you, this feeling that, when you discovered them, made you love animes.
This is the first anime since a while which left me with this exact same feeling, it's like you just achieved watching a masterpiece, you are aware of it, you just enjoy every minutes of watching because you know they are precious. Dororo is a gem.
This is not really a movie, it's more like a giant music clip for the album of the DaftPunk. I don't recommend to watch it as a movie you would be disappointed but more if you want to listen to their album, then you have this as background with the adventures of this alien music group.
This animé was definitely worth it to watch, french dub voices are really nice (usually I watch anims in vostfr but this dub was a good one). I really liked the story and the characters (Revy and Balalaika <3) , I hope there will be an end or at least a few more more episodes to have a decent ending for it, it's a shame if they don't!
The season 2 was wayyyyy better than the first one (which I barely liked it..), can't wait to see the rest in a season 3 ! Wether it's for the intrigue or the rythm, even humor it was better, more consistant. Honestly ater the 1st season I was like "hmmm ok it was fine but wasn't really worth it to watch", so when I saw there was a season two, first I was doubtful but then I decided to give it a second shot, and I don't regret my decision it was really entertaining. :)
