Skipped some spinoffs but as a long time fan came back for this. There is some good content here but as they have been doing for a long time now, 1 episode worth of content is being spread across 3 episodes.
Get out of my face... my head hurts.
Strange looks like a different guy!
This turned out to be one of those shows that we finished because we felt committed to after a few episodes and after liking the original. It was not worth it. Barely average as episodes went by without advancing the story. There are much better out there.
This guy definitely isn't Boyd Crowder. Just a jerk so you don't really care what he does next. Just more of the same jerk from the episode before. There would be times you were actually pulling for Boyd. Not this guy and that kind of pushes this towards boring.
Hilarious. An all time episode, just full of laughs.
You could just feel the "let's get the football out of the way so we can get to the preaching" vibe of this episode. Pure crap that looks like it will be banished to my wife's shows if it keeps up.
Never watched and never will. Lived through the current episode time in our area and just don't like glorifying these freaks. That is what they want. If I had my way the names would never be mentioned... only Scumbag Loser 1 and Scumbag Loser 2 etc.
If you like low budget zombie movies that don't take themselves too seriously, this and the original are worth a watch. There have been a lot of zombie movies and most angles have been covered but these movies have a couple of new twists on the genre.
Somebody cranked up the woke meter in between season 7 and the start of season 8. I think Boyle actually covered 6 woke topics in two sentences at one point! It seems hypocritical for a cop series that has made a lot of money for the writers, actors and everybody involved to be so completely against the police all of a sudden. Brutal. I guess they have picked their audience now. I don't need to be preached to when I turn on a comedy show. I can watch the news for that!
It is a stretch to give this a 5. Pretty bad but had some action. Narration was especially bad.
Not very good. Didn't even have the special effects you expect from this genre.
Frances Mcdormand was good but I guess I am too shallow to watch more than a documentary length coverage of this topic. I found it interesting at first but dropped out half way through since it just seemed like more of the same. My wife stuck it through to the end and would probably rate it higher than me.
Part way through season 2... in desperate need of picking up the pace! Episodes are going by with very little happening. Has been placed on drop alert if it doesn't pick up soon.
Great show. Has a much better underlying story than TWD. That underlying story reminds me of Game of Thrones. Put those two things together and there is a lot to like here! 8 out of 10.
Pretty good but a little corny. Worth a watch. The dog steals the show and good job by Rooker (Mearle).
Wanted to like it but the acting was so bad we couldn't continue. Avoid. Seems targeted at a younger audience so that may be part of it.
Love Lynyrd Skynyrd and the start of the movie had history that I didn't know. I would give this a pretty good rating up until the crash. After that, it seemed to get a little too self serving for my taste.
The original series was fantastic. At least an 8, maybe 9 out of 10. This new series is not nearly worthy of the name. It is maybe a 5.5. That being said, we will watch until the end of the season, but I predict that will be the end of it for us. Disappointing.
We thought it was pretty well done. The backdrop of what life is like in the swamps was interesting. Only one season but it is worth a watch.
Like the idea of the show and have enjoyed the first few episodes. They do seem to go out of their way to include the daughters all squawking at once at least a few times per episode. I really hope that slows down a bit. I can barely stand it at this level, if it gets worse, this show will be off the list! Are they being annoying on purpose?
Slow paced and I have to cringe every time a fight happens near Picard. Sorry to say it but he is too frail for fights. Gave up after 5 episodes.
Above average. Not bad to watch around Halloween!
I didn't think it belongs with fast and furious. The constant bickering was already getting real old halfway through. Still... not terrible but I was hoping for better.
This remake seems very cheesy compared to the original. The original had feeling and the remake has made up feeling.
Jim from the office was really hard to take in this episode. He didn't like the morals of his informant so he was just staring ahead and refusing to shake his hand. it was bad! He had this holier than thou grim look in his face for most of the show. We have since finished the season but if the next episode was more of the same.... end of the line for us!
You have to love Joan Jett. You see her and hear her and it sounds like all fun and games but it was hard for her as shown in the documentary. When Chrissie Hynde is telling you to get yourself under control.... you'd better listen! This isn't Joan talking about how great she is, she is talking about the journey.
That was our last episode...yuk! There must be better out there.
