"I love you to"

The last words of the series sums up how I feel about the series.

Masters of the Air

I liked it, it inspired me to look into what happen more closely. I like the following documentary if you wanted some orbit media:

Solo Leveling

I liked it, so far, I actually liked the internal monologue. I like to know what my characters are thinking when crazy shit is happening, vs how they appear to us from an external point of view. Because everyone has how they are on the inside and how they present themselves on the outside.

3 Body Problem

So far I liked it, I have not read the books, but the adaptation is ok in my opinion, but once again I have not read the books, nor have I seen the Chinese adaptation. Im also worried about the ending of this series, the writers who adapted this story are the same people who messed up Game of Thrones. So although I like the first season, Ill wait until the series is finished, just because of the folks working on this, they are not known to finish strong.

X-Men '97

I just watched the first two episodes and I got to say, they did it right so far {fingers crossed}!

2001: A Space Odyssey

This had so much more music than what I was expecting, I was aware of the movie because the AI having a Caesar "No, Nope, I'm not doing that human ish"moment. I see why ASMR fans are geeked on this film. In my mind space this is the OG timeline of the planet of the apes before the loop is established, dave becoming star baby leads to taylor and subsequent astronauts running into non corporeal form dave the star baby sending them back, thus starting the planet of the apes time spatial loop.

The Book of Clarence

I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

Dune: Part Two

2nd emperor of the US here.
Please show me why this is a beloved scifi im not seeing it.
The only thing that was very cool was the empire and that gravity based technology.
As a scifi fan I liked that technology so much that I want to replicate the gravity technology in real life. I got some ideas.
However maybe when the story fully plays out I will appreciate it more, but as right now this is weak sauce.
Its the spice talking....

Colossus: The Forbin Project

This movie has aged so well, especially after the release of the LLMs. This also predates Terminator. As the main character says, "Just like your mother said, all scientist should read Frankenstein!" I think all computer scientist and proompt engineers should check this movie out!

I'm rather surprised it took me this long to come across this, as I've never heard a soul talk about this move, but I thought it was a gripping tale, that got a lot more relatable after the release of LLMs. This movie should be held up a bit higher, maybe talked about in the computer, AI forums a bit more.

EDIT: I gave it a 10 because it predates The Matrix and Terminator, and the movie aged really, really well.

At the end of the movie he goes into wormhole, then goes back in time, near Saturn. Im not sure how fast that craft is but it would take a while to go from Saturn to Earth orbit. This is the weakest of the movies I've seen so far. I think the original did it better.

Planet of the Apes

I have heard of the movie, and I was aware of the ending of the film before I ever watched it. I must admit that people were right this was a damn good film, that definitely still holds up today.

For me personally it took about 30 years for me to appreciate this film.

Bodies

I thought it was good, it did give me Dark elements, but I think Dark is more complicated. It would be interesting to see how the loop started. If you like Dark or Predestination this will be right up your alley.

Also not sure what it means that Iris is driving Shahara and remembers her name.

Primer

Just rewatched it, I cant believe its been 20 years wow. Uh, this still holds up pretty well.

This is the kind of movie that you probably need to watch 2 or more times.

I enjoyed it, but I'm bias I like time travel shenanigan's.

Law & Order: 4x04 Profile

These earlier episodes dont seem out of sync to the current environment. I thought this was a good episode. The ending was quite cyclical.

New York Undercover: 3x07 Smack Is Back

This is a pretty intense episode, came to see the Law and Order cross over and stayed for the interesting story, quite a bit happens in this episode.

I'm not sure why, but the son was sweating so much throughout this episode, but it is never mention at all in the episode.

He was on something, but nobody mentioned it.

I felt the lady when she said that she is not furniture that is easily replaceable. I would imagine this is why many females of the 2020s are vastly different. It did not happen out of nowhere but clearly was building since the 90s and probably further back.

Watching these older episodes (I'm dual binging Law and Order and Homicide: Life on the Streets) is like watching a time capsule of American history through the lens of the law, from the Eastern US perspective.

007: Road to a Million

I actually thought this was interesting as I have never seen an established brand -- 007 be turned into a reality show. However I think it is pretty cool. I would like to see a second season.

It reminds me of the Amazing Race with 007 branding and music.

I thought Brian Cox was good as the controller.

Unknown: Killer Robots

It seems they already have weapons on these robots. They show one of the quads with a m-16 rifle and another with a bazooka. So the documentary asks a question that has clearly been answered. Also I guess its time to build some robots.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie

This was good, they did right by the fans. Might be a possibility of the NCU. Also the blue star, was a highlight.

Who in they right mind, thought that was a good design for Chucky. Jeez the 80s version is way better. Also Megan did this premise wayyy better. Shame.

I thought this was interesting take. I liked how its a documentary but you see the changes in the timeline throughout the mock interviews. Very cool!

The Alternate

I thoroughly enjoyed this, people are tripping. Throughout the film, I would pause and ask myself, what I would do in that circumstance? I also question if I had that ability to be sleeping with another version of my wife, is that cheating? This movie honestly made me question and think about it. I've come to the conclusion it is cheating. If you take a programmers point of view, you are just instance of a version of yourself. I thought it was cheating because I took the pov of genetically identical twins. Yall are the same but your experiences are different thus making yall unique towards each other, respectively.

Thus I think this is a good movie. The 50% is bull. What would yall do?

The Devil Conspiracy

This is a good concept, I think it would do good as a 10 episode season or maybe a mini series.

Devil May Cry

I liked this, im in the middle of a DMC playthrough. Based on the characters, you probably want to play the OG trilogy of games first then watch this anime then play dmc4 and 5.

Some of the episodes I thought had a lot of depth and that I liked was episode 5 and episode 8.

Afro Samurai: Resurrection

I did not get a chance to see this when it first came out. I thought it was very good and definitely an interesting mix of American and Japanese culture. I hope we get to revisit this world. If you like hip hop and anime, I think this will be right up your alley.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: 2x03 Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow

I liked this episode. This builds on lore about Khan from the wrath of khan, and on the temporal war, which is mention in enterprise and discovery. At some point we will need to see this two massive events, but I like how this episode builds on the lore.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: 2x02 Ad Astra per Aspera

I thought it was good, I was getting measure of a man vibes, I am sucker for the starfleet/federation court/tribunal type episodes because it builds on in universe canon. Which this episode does for the most part. It also has good underlying themes about genetic editing and the ethics around it, and a good deal on xenophobia, and how fear and hope can be encapsulated in or by law.
