Great finale. I'm pleased with the guilty verdict. This episode showed the flaws in the justice system. Ben saw that here. He rightly bent the rules to get the conviction. But he saw the flaws in the justice system and so resigned. He's been a fantastic prosecutor in this series. He saw how easily the hitman and his boss would have got away with it if he wasn't as forceful at bending the rules. His behavior is what is needed in the justice system. But the justice system does not want that type of behavior and will not tolerate it, especially as time goes on and things become more restrictive on this type of behavior, and so injustice prevails more.
Good episode. That woman would have lost anyway she had a quack defense and the jury would have seen that, stone put up a great prosecution. Plus he would have set precedent that that kind of defense would be more likely to fail, but he took the plea. I don't exactly blame him though, there might be some hope for the kid.
Tape out?, wtf. When the woman broke in the stone meeting, i feel like i could sense stones uncertainty, as i could feel it myself about her. There just felt like there wasn't enough to prove she was innocent and i always kinda suspected her. Lol at the end, really good episode. Man that was a good episode. Good acting and perfect music at the right times. Gonna give it an 8 to be honest loved it. Could watch it again right away.
The case was not that great but I have to give it “great” status because of the introduction of my favorite detective, Lenny Brisco.
