Wonderful show partially weighed down by more of modern pc bs.

@donpalomono I don't really get this viewpoint (and I've heard it before). I think the female characters existence in the story make the show more interesting. In my opinion it would be weirder if the show just glossed over women joining the astronaut program and pretended like it wouldn't be a big deal. I don't think they overdid it, they told the story and showcased how such a situation might have played out in the 60s-70s and then moved on fairly quickly to focus on other stories with all the astronauts doing their jobs.

VIP5Honestly, I'm really surprised TRAKT fans gave this show a 58% rating. In truth, I think we can all agree that this show was freakin' horrible. This was so disappointing, because I think this was the first major comic book LGBT character. This brings me back to why I almost never watch LGBT movies. Either the actors aren't talented enough, or the scripts are just straight up awful!!! However, in this case Ruby Rose is a decent actress, but, my opinion remains the same, she would have made a better Robin than a Bat Woman. They really played up on heavy stereotypes that even I as a gay man found off-putting. We have to do better with LGBT content. Please!!! This show felt way too amateurish. I might as well had digged up my old Adam West VHS tapes and watched that instead.

@cinematicthrowbacks I suspect there are a lot of people rating this as 10/10 just bc it is LGBTQ+ focused.
So tired of this me too movement. Just because there is a batman doesn't necessarily mean there must a batwoman. What are the air dates for CatMan and Wonder Man? I only watched the trailer and knew this was trash.

@breezytm You do realize, that Batwoman is a DC Character which existed for decades before the show?
I hate this show as well, but the character is way older than the metoo movement (which the show actually didn't have anything to do with, since the metoo movement is about rape and sexual assault)
I've been hooked from the start.
I also find the comments that Batwoman is forced diversity and why is she a lesbian! funny because Batwoman has been around for a while and has always been a lesbian.

@bandgrad2008 No one gives a shit about Batwoman (or Kate Keen to be more exact) being a lesbian.Well, some ppl are angry bc Ruby Rose is bisexual and is playing a Lesbian - I personally don't give a crap.
What is annoying as hell though is the fact, that the Batwoman in this show constantly needed to affirm her strength by putting down men - and I mean figuratively, not literally.
The Batsuit comment was just the tip of the Iceberg.
It might have changed, since I stopped watching some time ago - but I doubt it.
There are plently of shows with gay characters in them which are beloved. Those shows have one thing in common: They show us the human being and the story is the focus.
Here they put together a story which can be told in 5 minutes, so they can shove 40 minutes of propaganda down our throat.
And yes, I am annoyed when I am told that I am worth less, because my reproductive organs are on the outside.
The comments putting men down would cause a riot if they were reversed.
Make strong female characters (gay, bi, straight - I don't care) and I am in.
Make weak female characters who need to put down the other sex to appear strong: I'm out.
