One of the best, most emotional, finely crafted anime of all time. Something I can recommend to absolutely anybody.
An overly disappointing experience bogged down by an inconsistent tone where it feels half of episodes are totally incongruent with the other half, made this way by unfortunate circumstances in Japan at the time. The action is great, but the characters don't get much development, and all of it's interesting concepts are wasted or underused, while it continues to bring in more and more concepts and items without any explanation. Overall one of the few 'bad' Sentai shows.
One of my favorite toku experiences. Some of the most exciting action I've ever seen in the format and characters and themes so well crafted that it beats out 99% of anime. An absolute must for any toku fan or anyone looking to get into the medium.
