cassie was just asking to get hereditary’d in the car going 100mph
The title can change to "Enjoy Child Molestation After Tensei" now.
That runway FLEW by. I had no time to take in any of those looks. Also…
“This is your last chance to impress me and save yourself from eliminationnnnnnn.”
HOW CAN THEY CUT THAT? I know it’s such a simple thing, but it’s another staple fallen by the wayside. They need to revert back to the old format next season. This is ridiculous.
the challenges of this season are really weak
I thought it was a solid episode and not the worst Snatch Game. I think Ella Vaday was the rightful winner as she was strong both in the game and on the runway. That said, I disagreed with the bottom two: River Medway is likeable but she deserved to be there but I think Vanity Milan or Scarlett Harlett should have been with her instead of Choriza May, who at least had a strong runway look. I think the criticisms the judges levelled at Krystal and Vanity (basically just reusing a pre-existing funny character's jokes) should have equally applied to Scarlett's performance as Kevin from Home Alone, which I found very one note.
If I'm nitpickingly honest, I think the pacing of this final season has felt a bit rushed at times. I'm glad they made a two-parter for the finale as it did give the plot lines a bit more time to tie up (even if they were ultimately a little bit too neat and upbeat - Pray Tell's story line, aside). Nevertheless, it was a strong send-off for what has been a terrific and important piece of TV, and I hope we get to see the assorted cast members go on to thrive in other shows and films.
Definitely going to miss it.
disgusting, disturbing, I even find the reproduction of certain scenes of the series morbid, bad for the public's mental health
As a manga reader, I really don't mind if they change the plot. I just wanted an adaptation that stands by its own. Sadly, the patches show. It started with two chapters with little development and two montages of daily life in the same place, and now we have all the exposition crammed into one episode that makes this a bloated development. And even then the direction of this episode was really off: it didn't really picked up where the tension should arise, when a scene should change its focus, when a speech should be cut short and even left a void where some soundtrack was an obvious fit.
no one wins anything and there is no elimination? Wtff lolllll
I wrote a review of season 1 of Pose on Trakt 3 years ago saying how up to that point I had only seen a handful of tv shows that had blown me away every single week. 3 years later I still stand by my words on what’s become one of the most important pieces of TV we’ve experienced. Specially for the LGBTQ+, black and latinx community. The visibility and representation not only made us feel seen but had a real intention and impact behind every single shot, line or move. It was a wild ride and a great one. To have seen these characters’s ups and downs, fights, losses and pain but ultimately standing besides each other as the family they’ve always been, cherishing every single moment of happiness and thriving through them has been an honor.
I was so repulsed by the spoilt rotten self absorbed, uber indulged, messed up son of the lesbian couple, I couldn't bear to watch more. creepy when he sucks his mother's finger... really odd.
This season has become very formulaic at times and feels rushed. It's a shame about the double elimination - didn't feel warranted. Some of the snatch performances were great, though. Mixed feelings.
dumpster fire of a season
Have you ever seen a more unlikable protagonist? What an a**hole...
Horrible challenge, horrible feedback as usual and.., from all Allie X's songs they choose "Hello"? Ok...
trigger warning nina west will be on all season
lol this was a finale i guess
Ellie just go tf home already
Easily the worst season of the entire Drag Race franchise.
