i haven't watched the original, but the US version was average, slightly dull/slow, at times, but i binged the entire season in two days, was very disappointed it ended on a cliffhanger, when it could have been a limited series and ended properly, i think A&E mishandled this show
ive watched 18 episodes, so far, and this show is still meh. it's basically background noise when i turn it on, because it never holds my attention or gets me to laugh. the last couple of FOX animated shows have felt this way and it's really disappointing.
obnoxiously redundant to the 2013 version season 1 of Broadchurch, even down to the casting of David Tennant in both. the different killer/timeline twist wasnt enough to justify the US remake, in my opinion. i know this happens a lot, but it doesnt make it feel any less lazy and pointless to just reprocess shows/movies and throw in a potential what/if twist end, instead of offering new original content.
the scripted shows coming from Quibi have been good, but i hate the mobile only short "bite size" format that is forced. if you can get past that, this series is worth a watch
my wife and i watch a lot of (L)GBTQ+ content. i enjoyed this short and sassy season one, but my wife hated it. there was a questionable joke in episode one, that we both felt was extremely inappropriate, and i think that's what set the tone for her whole viewing experience with this adult audience based cartoon. to each their own, try it out, it's only a handful of quick episodes, so it's an easy watch overall.
was impressed by the first episode, but as the season progresses, it just seems unnecessarily slow
yesterday, 5/21/2020, Schooled was officially cancelled by ABC
very disappointed, as it was a great easy little sitcom to enjoy with a fun cast of characters.
Netflix has reversed it's previous renewal decision and, as of today, has now officially cancelled Glow - there will be no season 4 series conclusion
im not a wrestling fan nor did i grow up watching the real GLOW, but i really enjoyed this show - it was cheesy and fun, emotional and honest, the actors had great chemistry. it's a real disappointment that Netflix didnt give this the series finale it deserved and the fans were initially promised.
it's a funny easy watch
this show has no ending
it just needed 1 more episode to wrap everything up
very frustrating
i really hated the ending
i liked everything else though
very weak overall
dialogue is terrible - jackson's coop has absolutely nothing to work with
ending was...not much of anything
i would have rather watched jim carrey's yes man again instead - it's a much better take
cheesy fun. easily bingeable.
not perfect, but i enjoyed it nonetheless
s01 - loved it
s02 - it was okay
i was anxiety ridden.
excellent watch.
this. was. fun. cheese!
loved it
the cast drew me in, the story kept me 'til the end.
it built up to much of nothing. another episode probably would have rounded it out better.
very predictable twist, but it was a quick watch. almost leaning towards annoying, but not quite.
i watched a fan-edit with a complete runtime of 11h 45m - it was perfection!
i really hated everything about season 1 from the dialogue, acting, to the cinematography. at only 6 episodes, i still had a hard time finishing it.
i really enjoy slow burn shows, so the pacing didnt bother me in any way. i was enthralled throughout.
i know black + girl is going to piss some people off, but this show is really solid and worth a watch
i think this show was ahead of it's time. watching this in 2023, i couldnt stop laughing.
i think they did a great job with the satire
even with the ambiguous ending, i really enjoyed this show.
i really enjoyed this. the final episode was super rushed though, which was weird, since the rest of the show felt like a slow burn. they could have gave it a 10 episode run to flush out the end; those extra couple of episodes would have really made a difference, imo.
the first half was intriguing, but the second half went off the rails in a bad way. it was hard to finish, tbh.
this show is definitely a slow burn, but Evan Peters makes it worth your wild with his amazing acting as Dahmer; the entire story is heartbreaking and terrifying.
this gives me early 2000s Drawn Together and 2010s Ugly Americans vibes and i enjoy it immensely
