This is a very good series - has taken me a while to watch it but glad i finally did.
I'm digging SEASON 2's plotline WAY better than SEASON 1. Waaayyy.
It was a pretty good show for the first 3 seasons, 8/10. Despite being canceled after Season 3, it was a rather fitting ending for the show. However, it went downhill after that. With seasons 4 and 5, I wanted to finish them as soon as possible rather than enjoy each episode when I was nearing the end. And the ending was pretty disappointing.
Pro-tip: Don't bring a TV show back after it ends many years later. Don't pull a Prison Break situation.
BLUF: Not much a plot, but the warmth of the heart and feelgood feelings of reconnecting with the original cast is pretty good
Having it as a kind of a tradition to watch the three original movies every Christmas for as long as I can remember, I was pretty surprised to see, that they've made a TV show, and even more stoked, when I saw that some of the original cast was in it too.
That said, and having only watched the two first episodes, the plot seems a bit thin and predictable from the first 10 minutes of episode one.
It was, however, nice to reconnect with Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, and The Santa Clause.
90% of this is b-roll of either people dramatically looking out of cafe windows or montages of tape reels spinning
it's not bad but I think it would have fit better into a movie than a series
After choosing to end King of Queens in 2007 to make Adam Sandler crap. Kevin James tries to go back to exactly where he left off on television. By playing the same character again pretty much.
Except despite him being funny, the story is lazy and cliche.
Wohoo can't wait for this addition to the Chicago Fam.!!! Love all the spinoffs and crossovers between Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and now Chicago Med!
