A disappointing show. Had a few good moments and a couple of good laughs through the season, but 95% of the times the jokes didn’t work and the characters didn’t really have true chemistry. Lots of good parts/ideas/characters that just didn’t work together. Would happily watch most (maybe all) of these actors in other shows if I happened to see something, but I feel like these characters didn’t work together.
You really need full attention on this show because almost every single line is hilarious.
I feel like this show is almost kind of starting to come together. It has all the ingredients of a good show but it just doesn’t come together right. Not sure what it is that’s not working. One thing that constantly annoys me though is that a video store does NOT require that many staff working at the same time!
Those last three shots at the end. Perfect.
A video store does not need that many staff on at the same time. One person could handle it. Two if it was a little busy. He didn’t need to fire anyway, just give people shorter shifts!
Slurp slurp comment must be 5 words!
I’m getting close to the end. I was thinking that maybe it’s time to wrap up this show so far this season but this episode I realised I am going to miss these characters after this is all over. :(
I love the way Amy finds out the gender haha best bit of the episode. (But as many other comments said: gender reveal things are dumb).
This show gets dumber and dumber each episode.
“Oh no, I’m so wet!”
But this episode makes no sense… if it was a fake memorial why did an actual family member turn up, and it just happened to be one that had this big plan…
Chekhov’s gun is now loaded. This looks like it will go very bad….
Weird how the best episode of this show so far comes at the end of the third best season. What an amazing, great episode. Beautiful.
I want to see this taxi driver musical….
Holt acting drunk was perfect. He seemed a little out of character early in the episode but the acting like he had a few too many drinks was perfect haha
I’m struggling to get through this. Nowhere near as good as the films :(
This was surprisingly well put together. I was expecting complete boredom but didn’t actually hate this.
I feel like Saul deliberately mentioned that he doesn’t want to end up in that prison as a way to end up there. He knows a way out. Kim gave him something during the visit for his escape. He has not changed. He has a plan to get out and disappear…
Rigged. They always let the worst player win an episode. A business card? Seriously? Having said that though he is the funniest to watch this season so far. Being from Australia I actually don’t know any of these people so Taskmaster is often my first introduction to the competitors on this show, it’s good to get to know them across the season.
I didn’t think I’d ever miss Pimento but I didn’t realise his best was still yet to come. Great episode and glad to see the end of the food truck subplot which was always so stupid.
It seems like everyone has power now all of a sudden…? The families house, the bad guys hideout, I thought the power was out everywhere. It’s a shame these good actors are in this nonsense.
I thought this show couldn’t get worse… but I’m not surprised…
This show is so dumb :person_facepalming_tone1:
I picked the killer at the very start of this episode. They gave it away pretty clearly, so I knew the whole reveal at the end was an elaborate act that the other suspects were in on. Would have been fun if they didn’t make it so obviously who it was early this ep.
Can someone give the librarian his own spin-off show? Loved his scenes!
I was hoping this show would follow the antics of baby Gandalf. Such a missed opportunity.
I’m finding this season nowhere near as good as the last 4 so far. Hopefully it improves.
Holt needs to write a book of all his advice.
Loved the Hitchcock tattoo.
Gina has really grown on me over the seasons and is one of the funniest characters. Surely the ending is dream or something else explainable. Thx
