I enjoyed this part most of them all. I agree that the main event happens rather late in the movie but still, it was quite enjoyable as kids movie can be for grown up
Liked the time travel idea and clever use of first movie.
I liked it better on a rewatch. Such a stacked cast. Most of the stories are great. Andrew Lincoln's still is super creepy though.
Stress inducing and claustrophobic, Uncut Gems might be the first movie I recommend taking breaks throughout to catch your breath. It really is a wall-to-wall composition of anxiety and stress, with a fantastic performance from Sandler for good measure. The finale really is something else, and I can't wait to dig into this further to uncover some of the meaning behind the visuals and religious undertones. Please experience this movie, you won't be disappointed.
Cassie dances madly like a boxing kangaroo ♫
I feel it is wrong to say it - but this movie was great! I went in with really low expectations, but it was that wonderful mix of comedy horror that zombies can bring.
But definitely held together by Miss Caroline, who kept a straight face while playing that super teacher that every kid wants to imagine, fighting chaos and zombies while singing Taylor Swift songs and playing ukulele. Brilliant.
I am absolutely livid that one of the best movie twists of the last century is contained within Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. I'll never sleep again.
All right, you get 10 points for being one of a kind. Cheesy Trash-Horror-Musical. Reminded me again how much i like musicals and that we really need more zombie movies again. Definitely worth a watch. The Trailer says its a mix from Shaun of the Dead and Lala Land, but i think High School Musical fits better. Some songs are kinda funny others are way to cheesy. But my head still shaked to the tunes ;D Thank your for that movie and please make another one, i really would like to see where they go next.
I didn't expect much but thought it'd be a little better. Rhys Darby was good in it.
The cast and humor make this movie what it is. I enjoyed every minute of it
damn! this is one dark Xmas Movie....
“I love it when a plan comes together.” The A-Team blasts its way onto the big screen in this action-packed blockbuster. After being sent to prison for a black op that went wrong in Iraq, the A-Team breaks out in order to finish the job and clear their names. Starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, and Patrick Wilson, the cast is pretty strong. And, the action scenes are especially good; featuring some riveting sequences that are quite elaborate. However, the CGI is weak and not up to the standards of a big budget film like this. Still, I pity the fool that doesn’t see The A-Team; it's a wildly entertaining ride that lives up to the adventure and excitement of the original ‘80s television show.
Futurama: Bender’s Game is a hilarious and fun adventure into the strange and bizarre. In this third feature the Planet Express crew takes on Mom in order to free the universe from its reliance on dark matter fuel, but when things go wrong they end up caught in an alternative fantasy universe. The film is mainly a spoof on Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons, and it works pretty well. Most of the humor and satire is fairly smart and clever, making for an entertaining romp. And as nonsensical as the plot is, it’s a fun story with a lot of laughs. There are a few missteps, but overall Futurama: Bender’s Game is a return to the outlandish, wacky hijinks that made the television series so good.
I actually enjoyed this quite a lot. Good cast and it built tension really well. That said, it was massively undercut by a fairly abrupt conclusion and a highly cheesy closing scene and dialogue; a shame.
What a roller-coaster... deffinetly one of the best romantic comedies I have ever watched...
Definitely not as much laughs "BUT" very smile-worthy, wasn't everything i expected but maybe 'the movie served a higher purpose and exposed many hypocrisies in America "IN REAL TIME" ' or some shit.
rewatch | This is my favorite part! Moments: the total in the Shrieking Shack & Hermione breaking Malfoy's nose. #loveforever
A darker and more mature turn for the series really makes this a whole lot better. Gary Oldman and David Thewlis are great additions. Michael Gambon's Dumbledore is better too. The story is great with a lot more magical toys to play with. It looks pretty good too.
Dumb, corny and a load of fun. Against the odds, Home Alone actually seems to be getting better with age.
Absolutely loved this film. There's no better way of getting into the Christmas spirit than watching Kevin McCallister beat up two buglers with his inventive traps. Seriously though, the comedy is pure genius, and the story is heartwarming. What more could you want at this festive time of year?
Enjoyed the film . If you looking for a romcom that will put a smile on your face over these uncertain times then this is it
About as perfect a popcorn movie as they get. Filled with easter eggs, humor, warmth, and clever plotting. Great Scott!
One of the better comedy specials I’ve seen in a long while. Love both these guys.
“The Spy Who Dumped Me” doesn’t take the spy-comedy genre to new heights, however there is a lot of fun to be had with this one. It features stellar locations and a great comedic performance by Kate McKinnon.
Thought this was some other cliche movie. But man was not expecting that. Original and entertaining.
haha wow, this never got passed dark comedy for me. if your weakness is jump scares, then this is a horror film for you.
ps. the filming location is ridiculously beautiful.
Not quite as dreadful as I remember. In fact it was fairly enjoyable. I think the major flaw here is that it took a long time to get to the major issue: Jack Frost becoming Santa. And then it was too quickly resolved. Had that been the main story all the way through, then it would have worked better.
However, Martin Short plays the part of Jack Frost very well, finding the right balance between amusing and creepy. The scenes where they go back to the first film with Santa falling off the roof was very clever. It reminded me of the second Back To The Future film where they go back to his "Johnny B Goode" performance.
It will never have the magic of the first film, but rather than comparing, it's always good to enjoy sequels as separate films, and I did rather enjoy this film.
I started this movie not knowing anything about it. I was pleasantly surprised because I've been looking for fresh new movies like this all week. You wont be disappointed if you enjoy movies like Groundhog Day.
I haven't smiled in a long time, this film did the unthinkable. I had a great time, the charisma of the leads is enough to make this film extraordinary!! Highly recommend it!!
I was not expecting this movie to be so good. It really shocked me how good it was. I expected it would be just another teen romance, it was so much more. And all the questions it makes you ask and consider it does it so well, without being condescending or contrite. It really makes you think in a good way. Thank you to everyone involved for making this movie as I would never have read the book it was based on and that would have been my loss.
I just saw the BEST movie! I went to see this REALLY tired (I had just driven over 4,500 km in 4 out of 5 days and went to this movie to stay awake until it was an appropriate time to go to bed for the night). It was so much more than a young adult romance. It asked questions like: Am I defined by my shape, my gender, my colour? Have we a right to make decisions for ourselves that will compromise the ability of another to make their own decisions? What does respect or love look like and in the case of the latter does it have to have a “look”? And, finally, what would we be willing to sacrifice for the one we love most in the world and/or a total stranger? This storytelling is exquisitely beautiful. And, as one of the major protagonists is played by a number of actors the emotional tension could have easily dissipated were it not for the entirely captivating character inhabited by young actress named Angourie Rice. A wonderful journey. A new favourite movie. I give it a 10 out of 10. [Romantic Fantastic Drama]
