Weird how the best episode of this show so far comes at the end of the third best season. What an amazing, great episode. Beautiful.
Chekhov’s gun is now loaded. This looks like it will go very bad….
But this episode makes no sense… if it was a fake memorial why did an actual family member turn up, and it just happened to be one that had this big plan…
“Oh no, I’m so wet!”
This show gets dumber and dumber each episode.
I love the way Amy finds out the gender haha best bit of the episode. (But as many other comments said: gender reveal things are dumb).
Was really enjoying this up until the last 5 minutes.
If you ignore all the stupid things that are unbelievable it’s a light fun movie to watch but it all goes as you’d expect at the end which is disappointing. Odd that they make the guy she didn’t end up with quite likeable and the much better option.
I’m getting close to the end. I was thinking that maybe it’s time to wrap up this show so far this season but this episode I realised I am going to miss these characters after this is all over. :(
Slurp slurp comment must be 5 words!
A video store does not need that many staff on at the same time. One person could handle it. Two if it was a little busy. He didn’t need to fire anyway, just give people shorter shifts!
Those last three shots at the end. Perfect.
I feel like this show is almost kind of starting to come together. It has all the ingredients of a good show but it just doesn’t come together right. Not sure what it is that’s not working. One thing that constantly annoys me though is that a video store does NOT require that many staff working at the same time!
You really need full attention on this show because almost every single line is hilarious.
A disappointing show. Had a few good moments and a couple of good laughs through the season, but 95% of the times the jokes didn’t work and the characters didn’t really have true chemistry. Lots of good parts/ideas/characters that just didn’t work together. Would happily watch most (maybe all) of these actors in other shows if I happened to see something, but I feel like these characters didn’t work together.
I really want to like this show. I keep trying. It’s just so many of the jokes don’t work. But then a little joke like the Carmen Sandiego joke give me a little giggle and I keep going for one more episode…
Finally something actually happened in this show!
Amazing that an episode where a lot of the run time there is not a lot happening, nothing that progresses Street much anyway, and yet I was fully engrossed the whole time. A great episode. Amazing casting.
If someone did that to my dog I’d probably be the same. (Possibly with less skill though).
It’s interesting that in this season they are really spelling things out to the audience and making it really clear what’s happening. Feels quite different to the first few seasons where everything was so mysterious and there were so many questions. I’m enjoying this season more than the others but it’s a shame the answers couldn’t come more realistically and in line with the style of the first three seasons.
I don’t know if I’ve missed something but I’m not sure of the characters relationships with each other. Why is the daughter hanging out with Harrison Ford? Is he just her dads boss or are they related in some way? Who is the woman looking after Alice? An aunt or just a friend? It’s not clear how these people all know each other and fit together.
I guess I’m the only one that likes the slow build :person_shrugging_tone1:♂ (as long as it’s going somewhere…)
You’d think army guy would have at least had a shower and change of clothes at some point before getting home. Or even before the interview. He would have been so hard to breathe near.
Not sure why everyone is so happy when they can’t see jets out the window anymore. It’s likely they’ve dropped back to shoot you down!
“I’ve never been fed a pile of crap like that since truth or dare night at farm camp” - wow, that’s actually hilarious. Sometimes this show has a moment of brilliance so quick you may miss it :rofl:
This makes the worst films I’ve ever seen look like masterpieces. Unbelievable.
Another episode with minimal Ryan and rob - and these last 2 episodes have been some of the best of the season so far…
A good episode but could have been so much better if they cut all the Rob out.
After a decent second half of the season this episode really ruined the flow. No one cares about this. The town and the team is what makes this show great. So disappointed.
I’d forgotten how this ended. So good. So sad.
Don’t always need rob or Ryan in there as part of the story. Some/most of the best moments of this show they are nowhere to be seen. Such a nice episode with a very powerful ending.
