THIS is cinema - Martin Scorsese
The alpha version of Avengers: Age of Ultron
A decent film that has a story and characters that had great potential in there, but distracted target audiences and poor pacing let's it down. The cast are good (the accents are not), and if they had stuck to the tone of the original trailer of a darker, scarier thriller then it would have been something solid.
Not the worst Xmen film, but plenty of better films around.
As a standalone film, it won't be winning any awards. As a final, feel good movie to the end of a trilogy started 31 years ago? Absolutely worth watching.
In recent years especially, it's good to try and unite the world.
I loved it when Triple H did the Pedigree on Bing-Bong to create a core memory.
