The One where we all lost a friend. Rest in peace Matthew Perry!
Another solid episode. Seeing James in the past and him watching his mother commit suicide was an interesting opener, It seems like that was the incitiing incident which lead James onto this emotionless path, and its still having a toll on him as weve seen flashbacks to it throughout the series. I liked watching James and Alyssa's sort of journeys as they were seperated from eachother, they were constantly thinking about eachother and how they missed them. When James thought of Alyssa as someone who could care for him and Alyssa was worried about James I thought it was really sweet, seeing how far there relationship has developed. It was also a nice detail seing Alyssa bring the kid back even tho she could be arrested, its nice seeing scenes like that that shows her heart. Also im rooting for the lesbian cop, I hope they date eachother. Alyssa's mom is pretty shitty for a parent and Jame's dad seems like a good dude, who doesnt want James to get into trouble, I hope they can reconcile.
A long, solitary film made for those of us who like long, solitary things.
The (loosely based on a true) story of a Russian woman who wants to walk westward from New York to Russia contains almost no dialog save for the odd secondary character and voice-off radio djs is a wonderful road trip, as slow as a spiritual trek and just as rewarding.
A mix of American Honey and Into the Wild, embark on this film only if you have nowhere you want to be, and you want to take your time getting there.
Dongeun's mother is so annoying
