The proof that this tv show got really bad is that it would be impossible to have 9 seasons with this kind of quality. Watching this series went from being a good time to a challenge.
Don't say that the superhero genre is dying, bad writing is trying to kill it for a long time.
This show is melodrama through and through, so I can understand why some people can't get into it, but hot damn I love a well cooked melodrama. This is my jam.
Time will remember this episode considerably more fondly than the people who are disappointed about it on the day it comes out. Admittedly not everyone likes musicals, and that's fine, but it's a joy to watch Star Trek take exciting chances in storytelling. The episode also includes some valuable callbacks (Callforwards?) to TOS
Don’t trust the good reviews. 80% of this show is the equivalent of watching paint dry. You. Will. Feel. Every. Minute. That. Passes. Unnecessarily long and boring.
