This may be my favorite trek series. Seriously, it is giving TOS and TNG a run for their money. There are some continuity issues that don't make sense if you are a Trek fan, but if you liked the format of TOS and TNG, this is back to that formula with a much bigger SFX budget and technical capabilities.
Starts out pretty decent, but the main character becomes very unlikeable, the story unbelievable, and the show unwatchable.
I thought it was pretty good, continuing on with the themes from That 70's Show, and definitely better than the That 80's Show (which isn't saying much). Like the original show, Red and Kitty really steal the show at times. Mace Coronel does a great job as a slightly more savvy version of Ashton Kutcher, and I thought Reyn Doi was great as well. And of course it was great to see Wilmer Valderrama reprise his role as Fez.
The first episode was a bit rough, but the rest was quite enjoyable.
I thought the first season was funny, but just okay. The second season hit on the musicals I actually liked so I got a real kick out of it.
I couldn't get thru it, gets rave reviews but the art style I can't stand.
For what it's worth, I thought this was pretty decent. I expected it to be much worse.
It tried hard and failed to be like Pirates, but at least it was way better than Haunted Mansion.
The real supervillian is whoever managed to get this greenlit over at Netflix.
Not all the changes are for the better, but it was still pretty good. Much better than the other Disney live action remakes.
Jesse Eisenberg plays a great Mark Zuckerberg. So great, that I couldn't stand to watch much of the movie - so much cringe.
This two-part episode was terrible if for no other reason than the fact that 75% of the second part was recap of the previous episode.
There is literally only about 6 minutes of new content in this episode. You can skip to about 40:30 with the only additional information you need is that Stanley is acting strangely.
I didn't like Dax as the host, and the entire setup of the game was horrible. The show was designed to bring the contestants hope's all the way up, and then smash them at the end. To make it worse, the game set up conflict with the loved one the contestant selected as a partner. Basically combined the worst parts of Deal or No Deal with The Big Spin - but at least contestants on those shows don't have a million dollars or more ripped out of their hands at the last second.
Probably the best movie in the series, it provides all the dirty humor you would expect from the American Pie movies but adds scenes that are very sweet as well.
Complete and utter douchery all around in this show. Makes Seth Rogan romcoms seem funny. Everyone except Deb (Leighton Meester) is completely unlikeable.
Honestly, it started out as a fan servicey school comedy, then they gave up halfway through the first season, and it became a somewhat schoolish fan service comedy that wasn't even funny.
This was really good, but it will feel unfinished if you don't watch the 4 main specials
Much, much better than you think it would be. Excellent performances all around.
I enjoyed it, even though it was basically all world building and the various patrons enjoying their food. Very easy to watch. A little disappointed with the last episode because the black dragon speaks (instead of telepathy) and it takes the master by surprise, but they never explain why she was talking, and then she goes back to telepathy with the other patrons.
One of the best shows to come out of Nickelodeon in some time. Great for kids and adults! My son enjoys watching these over and over, and the puns and jokes bring a smile to both my wife and I's faces as well.
Not quite as good as the original, but that may just be time and nostalgia speaking. There's been relatively few changes from the original premise, and the girls get a few new powers.
I gave it a 7. Wasn't funny like Chuck, first couple episodes were simply not good but it got better as it went on. The concepts were really far fetched, honestly the only things keeping me watching were Josh Holloway being a super soldier nerd without the nerd, John Billingsley as the main scientist and Marg Hellgenberger as the leader. Ory wasn't bad either. But I almost junked it two episodes in. Now I'm actually sad they didn't do a second season as they ended on a really good season (not series) finale.
