A new variation on an existing concept. But nicely done. Fits well with other similar shows, like Liar Game (JP or KR), Zero, Kaiji, and others. Can only recommend it.
I noticed one thing. Each time there is a murder game in a Korean show, they focus more on the characters. In Japanese shows, they focus more on the game mechanics. I wonder why it is so.
Laughed 0 times, chuckled about 3 times. It was just boring from start to finish.
Just another disappointment. If they have money to spend on the CGI and the good actors, why don't they spend some of it on a good writer? But looks like a story no longer sells a movie. This felt like it was written by someone who heard about Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribean (just heard, not seen) and they tried to make something similar. And failed at it. Not even Dwayne can save this mess.
If Holywood will continue like this, there will be no point at all even to bother watching anything that comes from there. Trash upon trash with more trash on top. Really sad.
Really enjoyed this one. The visuals look great, music was perfect including the sound effects. The story is good, and you will root for the characters (that even change and progress as the story goes). Godzilla is scary and menacing. I can't think of anything I did not like. Can't wait for a streaming release to see it again.
This movie stands completely on the performance of the main character. And I think Rebecca Hall was quite convincing. A good horror movie but maybe they could forget about the jump scares next time.
I rewatched the trailer afterward to be sure, and I really found it and the name misleading. The whole house and the mirror house/world concept play's a very little role in the movie, and it left me a bit disappointed. I expected more of this alternative reality stuff.
Mostly a funny action movie. Your enjoyment will depend on how much you liked Central Intelligence (it's mostly the same movie) and how much you can tolerate Kevin Hart. He's just not funny. He plays the same character he always does and just won't shut up. You can feel the quality of the movie, going up each time Woody Harrelson is on the screen, and then sharply tanking when Kevin shows up. And btw. Kaley Cuoco is here just so they have another "known" actor in the credits. Her character does nothing, and without her, the movie would be exactly the same.
This movie is random. And that's not a positive. There is no thought behind the multiverse aspect and there is no consistency behind how it works. They just do whatever. The jokes in this are so infantile that I had to check if this was really written by adults. Breaks the overall more serious tone of the movie and is mostly out of place. The main couple was good, but the daughter was horrible. She and some other supporting actors felt really fake. The trailer was promising, the movie was one big letdown. The original idea was probably good, but they should have worked on it more before making this movie.
I did not expect much, and that's what I got. Neo and Trinity were mostly great, everything else was just horrible

Morpheus was changed into a joke, the character was completely destroyed
Smith is very creepy, the whole essence of the character is gone
The Analyst is totally miscast.
You would fear the agents in other movies, here they mean nothing.
The movie could have been easily cut down to 90 minutes without losing anything. Just bloated
The movie lacks style. When you see a scene from the Matrix or even the sequels, you can see and feel the overflowing of style.
There is nothing like that here. They lost it completely.
I feel like behind the first Matrix, there was a vision. Vision to make something new, unique. And they were successful. Here they also had a vision. A vision of quick easy money earned through nostalgia. Nothing else.
After a while, I actually started to wonder. Did the Watchkowskis really make the first Matrix? The difference in quality is just so huge here.

A nicely made sci-fi show. Some new ideas here and there and some borrowed from others. I liked the story, the characters, the performance was good, the effects and designs were good. Just don't watch it with the English dub.
Not bad, with a lot of gore and disturbing, almost grotesque scenes. Just what one expects from such a horror. Too bad it's not as good as the original. While they delivered on the amount of blood, it's missing the psychological horror. Just remember the first one, like the evil tried to make Ash crazy the whole time. Also no "Join us" :/
Some of the designs are nice. And that's all the positives of this movie.
The saying "show, don't tell" is something that the director and writers should write down at least a million times before they try and make anything else. You are being told about these great characters the whole movie, that just do nothing.
There is no real story here. The acting is mostly mediocre. Bad fight choreography with pointless slowdowns. Too many useless characters. Drawn out boring scenes. Was a pain to finish this, and I don't plan to watch the sequel.
The trailer looked promising, but the movie was quite bland and boring, with some really annoying characters. A little bit of action here and there, some ok designs but not much else. Not sure why they hired an actress that looks like a robot to play the only human main character. The whole movie I was waiting for them to reveal that she is a robot too.
I wanted Transformers. Instead I got Dumb and Dumber with guest appearances by Transformers.
I was bored the whole time. The story is stupid, most of the movie is filler, and they even copied everything they could from the Avengers. They even got an Iron Man.
I have to thank again to all the "professional" reviewers for the bad scores. Without that, I would not even bother, as I'm not really a fan of Super Mario games. But wow, was this enjoyable and fun. Really nicely done, and they even stuck with the game logic. It has been a long time since I wished a movie was longer.
A very bland and mediocre mystery movie that sh*ts on Agatha Christie almost constantly. And for what they show, they don't deserve a right to do so. Was it not for a few funny moments and an overall good performance from Saoirse Ronan, I would score this even lower. A lot of needless dialogue that's only there to fill up the dead air and pointless characters that overact like this was their first job. If you like Agatha Christie like mysteries, just avoid this.
It's not bad but feels stale. This heist-style movie has been done so many times before. Thinking about it, just two weeks ago, still on Netflix, with Army of thieves. It's just forgettable.
Also, I'm starting to wonder if, when they sew Ryan Reynolds mouth shut in X-men, if they did not stumble on a very good idea. I just wanted him to finally shut up, the whole movie. I know that Deadpool was popular, but does he have to be the same character in every movie? Was fun for a while, but now it's getting old really quickly.
It started ok, but it went downhill quite quickly. Few funny moments, nice effects, and the main story line taken from Tron.
Hollywood should just forget about video games. Stop adapting them, stop mentioning them at all. If they can't even adopt a fake one, just stop. Did the writer of this trash even play a game or seen one? Who was this for? For the developers that they portray as idiots? Or the gamers showed to be little kids? They even put streamers into it. Yes, I want more low-quality content in the movie.
I have seen every episode at least 10 times, and I will see them again. The best detective TV show ever.
Surprisingly enjoyable. The mystery is interesting, builds well upon itself, and keeps you watching to see what's going on. Overall I hated only the performance of the main character, who l think could have been replaced with a cardboard cutout without any loss. Luckily as the show progresses he becomes more of a side character and the story is not about him. Also too bad the story is not contained in the season, as it does not answer everything and the ending is quite open. Hopefully, a second season is made.
A solid movie, but felt so generic. Like I have seen it before without seeing it.
I presume all the budget went to the nice posters because this feels like a low-budget Netflix movie. Especially some of the CGI and fight choreography was horrible.

The only positive was the Red Guardian, quite funny, just not enough of him.
Overall the worst Marvel movie in a long time. If they cut out Natasha and Yelena, this would make for a better movie.
A simple movie with simple characters. No message or some grand idea, just entertainment. You don't even notice that the main character does not speak the whole movie . Maybe a bit unrealistic in a few scenes, but still great.
Not enough Cage, just not enough Cage. And just too much Awkwafina. To me, she sounds like nails on a blackboard. Just horrible.
Overall, few funny moments, some nice action, and a predictable story. Hoult plays basically the same character as in Warm Bodies here. If they had the courage and let Dracula win for a change, would at least made for a nice surprise

A dull, unfunny story, that's just there to show you everything Disney owns. In a way, it reminded me of Space Jam II. Both are horrible and just filled with references. The fly/mouse hybrids were disturbing but not as much as the so-called "2D" animation. If Disney hates 2D this much, they should stop pretending to use it. Funny how they also manage to have the real actors look less convincing and faker than the animated ones. Not the first movie that accomplished this. I liked Chip & Dale when I was a kid and saw it a lot, but these are not even the characters from that show and I did not enjoy this movie at all. Was a chore just to finish this.

As long as they stuck to the original it was quite ok, the moment they tried to go their own way it got bad. Cube was about survival, not about the same regrets all over. How many times can you show the same flashback? What's up with the caricature characters? The kid hates adults, the old guy hates kids. Thats about all that you get to know about them. Just watch the original or any of the sequels. All of them are better.
I love detective mysteries, seen and read so many of them. I must be spoiled by good ones because this one was not one of them. And on top of that, I hated most of the performances. Feels like they wanted to prop the meh story with good casting, but they failed, miserably. Most of the actors are maybe 5-10 minutes in total in the movie, just so they could put them on the cover. Really don't understand the good ratings this got.
I expected a documentary, all I got was fairy tales.
There are some fun moments, an okay mystery, some overacting, and some stretched-out scenes that could be much shorter. Still, it was quite an enjoyable movie. Maybe not the best, but still better than anything coming from Disney.
