@moonkodi What did you expect before you observed it?
Indeed, the movie is too shallow - both the sci-fi elements and the story itself becoming too dull too quickly. The basic settings of the story were intriguing, specifically the teachnology-society axis, but most of their potential went down the drain. I don't understand the buzz around it.

Aims big. Works for a while but becomes boring, really boring, and the sci-Fi elements never really develop beyond mentioning DNA. Add social implications and you have a movie that is pure Oscar bait in Sci-Fi clothes. It dulled the imagination for me.
