@dgw i think miller obsession with mao girl was explained better in the books,
like, they dwelled a bit on that in season 1 where he started literally seeing her, but for some reason they completely forgot about that this season
i guess there's not enough time to show everything per episode
@dgw I just rewatched S1 before watching S2 so it wasn't really that strange to me. He was quite obsessed with her and "saw" her alot of times. Though it wasn't that clear if he loved her romantically or as a daughter, until this episode.
