Overall, it's entertaining and worth watching, but certainly not without some flaws. By design, there's not much of a middle ground in the characters - they're either very flat or over the top - but the problem is, some of the actors are more successful working in those extremes than others For instance, Warburton's casting was genius and his low key, yet concerned, delivery is perfect. Neil Patrick Harris, on the other end of the spectrum, is equally effective in delivering his performance of a character which is by nature over the top, but it doesn't come across as too campy. That being said, I think a lot of the blame for some of the less than desireable performances can be laid at the feet of a largely lackluster script. Technically, it's a treat; the sets and costumes are wonderful and there's some nice direction and camera choices throughout. Oh, one other thing, though - are these damned kids really worth the trail of bodies they're leaving in their wake? Just saying...
