That "Satellite Frequency Communicator TX40" looks an awful lot like…a router. It even says so on the box.
This was very underwhelming, even by season-starter standards. I get that there's no "big bad" yet, but so much of the story is a rehash of, for example, last season's beginning, with different players. "Meh" about does it, tbh.
