@juratfo Yeah, it's a very similar premise, but they took it in a different direction. If one thing avoided a topic just because another thing already covered it, we wouldn't have anything new.

@juratfo given the orville was released only about a year later they likely had no idea that Black Mirror was doing a similar premise while they were developing and filming this episode. Not really worth pulling it once it's produced.
