After strong recommendations from friends and coworkers, I decided to join in the game. I am watching it in proper Blu-Ray order, and after watching this and The Train Job, I am sort of sympathizing with the TV executives, frankly.
I found this pilot episode to be very slow to start with weak character intro and fragmented storyline. The Train Job was mostly pointless, too, but this episode needed to be more focused and tighter.
To its credit, the episode picks up its pacing on the second half and there are enough likable characters to hang on to. But I am not sure I will like this series.
