A Star Is Born 2018

First off, let's start by recognizing that this is the 4th remake of this movie. If you haven't seen any of the previous versions then you have tge advantage of thinking this movie is unique ir original rather than a repeat. Having said that, what is different about this one is the music and context. The story may be the same, but it's tokd from a more modern context. The beginning was really enjoyable, filled with great music, but then that gets lost in the drama. And that's obviously part of the process, they even mention the loss of that original music in all the drama, but it still makes the rest of the movie less enjoyable. It becomes about drama rather than music and it loses its excitement. It's raw and emotional, that's true, but I just didn't love it like I was expecting to.

Totally agree with you. The way Bradley conducted the ending was incredible though. I watched every version of this story and this ending was the one that affected me the most.
