For me this isn't their best movie. It's missing a coherent story. This is like a series of short jokes put together that are rather losely build around a thin story. It is a good satire. Althought I myself haven't served, I know many soldiers and from listening to them I am sure a lot of the thing depicted here are not far from the truth. Jerry is always fun to watch and Dean could really sing. And some of the jokes hit home.
