As soon as I saw who the three main actors for this show were, I was in! I didn't even bother with what this show is about. And I was not disappointed. It's not looking to be a groundbreaking show, but here's some sort of a fun Veronica Mars vibe to it, minus the dad and with a whole lot of extra emotional baggage. Dex's one night stand with Hoffman felt forced (they didn't really establish a proper chemistry between the two beforehand) but, apart from that, this series premiere was alright. And I really like Dex's broken cassette player, it keeps churning out the best tunes!
