Although I have seen this show so many times it always hits me how the quality skyrocketed within the third season. This story marked the beginning of a great and lasting arc about Worf and the Klingons, who became much more of a focal point moving forward. A great piece of character developement, too. We get a look into the culture and politics of the Klingon Empire and what they are willing to do to save face. Something I think is true about politicians in general. So there is even that trait in this story. We also see that Picard can be a tough cookie if needs be and that he even stands up to a challenging Klingon. His willingness to stand up for any member of his crew shows us why they would always stand with him, too. And of course, Tony Todd, who always brings his a-game.
