Wow. In the first 35 seconds, instead of seeing how the cliffhanger was resolved, we have Lucy info dump it all on us. Excellent writing.

Oh, my God, are you serious? It's the final episode, the team is struggling to survive, they're scrambling to stay ahead of Rittenhouse, they know they're on a time limit, and what do they do? Alter history AGAIN for some random pregnant woman. They've all made sacrifices at this point. They've all killed for the cause. They should know by now that sometimes, people need to be left behind. Sucks, but one random woman is not worth risking everything for.

Wait. That was Lucy's father? And he has a teenage son? This was so ex-machina, I can barely wrap my head around it.

Man, if they don't pick this woman up and RUN...
Television always has instant labor. Labor can easily last a day. Yet, as soon as a woman goes into it, the baby is delivered within an hour on TV. Even with Wyatt saying he spent 22 hours delivering a baby in the past, the trope still persists with this woman. The port was only a mile away. It likely on took them 30 minutes, tops, to get there and back. So, you're telling me a woman went into labor and delivered a baby in 30 minutes? eyeroll

That "newborn" is HUGE! And looks rather Caucasian.

I rolled my eyes so hard they hurt at Lucy and Wyatt's heart-to-heart inside the church.
And damn, Wyatt sure does get over his women quickly.

Why didn't Wyatt shoot Emma on the spot? Honestly, why are these people still making rookie mistakes?
Why would the army shoot Emma who was separated from the group and already held at gunpoint first? Why wouldn't they take out the only one with a gun?

How many seats does the Mothership have? They all went into it (5 people), so if it has fewer than 5 seats, that means consequences for whoever's left standing. And if the Mothership has 5 seats, why has Rittenhouse also sent fewer than that number of people on a mission?

So Lucy is okay with altering time to save random people who originally died, but she doesn't want to do it for her sister? Get out of my face with that.
Why would they destroy the Mothership and not the OP Lifeboat? The Lifeboat has AUTO-PILOT. Anyone can steal it and use it without even knowing a thing about it. At least with the Mothership, if someone were to steal it, they wouldn't be able to properly use it without prior training.

Oh, man. I'm sorry, but that was not a good finale. That five-year jump was awful. It was a predictable end, but even worse, it implied Rittenhouse was over. No, it isn't. Rittenhouse was more than Emma, Carol, and that other guy. After Emma should have risen others. There are still children raised with the Rittenhouse mindset. Even without a time machine, they never would have given up. The BEST way to have fixed everything would have been to go back to WWI and kill that guy before Rittenhouse got to him. Rather, kill him as a child, before he got ideas about time travel in the first place. Without him, there would be no Rittenhouse.

This finale was just a rushed mess, and I don't blame the 2-hour time limit either. They tried to cram so much into the finale when it wasn't necessary. The Gold Rush and Zorro weren't necessary. North Korea and the pregnant lady weren't necessary. Forcing these in led to the main plot being underdeveloped and poorly paced. This isn't the worst finale I've seen, not by far. It isn't even necessarily bad. It just is not good. Objectively and subjectively, it is not...
