If anyone's still asking the question "what's the point of Grey's Anatomy, sixteen seasons in?" or, perhaps more bluntly "why is that thing still on the air?", showing them Chandra Wilson's work in this episode should clear up any doubts. Especially her scene with James Pickens Jr. in the OR after the surgery. It's remarkable that an actor is still able to find such places to go with a character, after all this time, and that the show is able to allow her to. I still think Station 19 is the best Shondaland show at the moment, but still, Grey's longevity lends it a depth and a resonance that's simply not available to any other show on at the moment.
