For an "action" movie with a hell of a cast, there was surprisingly little action and barely any character development. If you took the hotel setting from John Wick and made an entire movie around what goes on during a day within its walls, but with bland, one-note characters, murky world-building, and a threadbare plot, this is what you get. How can you mess up a film with this spectacular cast and a setup that teases the potential for some great set pieces? Well, they somehow did.
