An interesting take on Sir Lancelot, who turns out not to be of noble blood in this version of the story. He and Gwen are obviously mutually attracted and the fact that she is not a noblewoman herself may give some hope for their future together since Arthur would not even consider her as a future queen. So maybe this time the lovers would be happy. The show is light-hearted and relaxing as it was geared to children, this is endearing to some extent but at the same a bit boring for an adult viewer. Also, it seems strange that Arthur and his knights didn't try to defeat the griffin using archery, was the art of the bow unknown in Camelot? A bit of a plot hole.
