It’s your run-of-the-mill end of the world disaster movie. Every twist and turn is predictable as we’ve all seen it done a thousand times. That said, if you go in expecting it to be exactly what it is, without any ridiculous expectations that it might somehow be something different, then you’ll probably enjoy this movie - I know I did.
The acting from our beloved Gerard and Morena was, as always, on point and made the experience much more believable (not that being more believable is particularly tricky).
It was nice to see that a couple of birds survived the apocalypse, regardless of the fact that mankind completely hung them out to dry.
