I liked the snippets of Captain Proton we had so far. Getting a whole episode was cool. Not sure about those photonic aliens, though. But in a way it fits the theme. Is it ridiculous ? Of course it is ! It's supposed to be. The sequels this is homaging are looking like that from our perspective. Take it for it is, but don't take it too serious.
