@razze The Beast is satan. From the beginning until "modern time" they were stuck in limbo going through the circles of Hell. So I assume that they were near death when they're in the water near the end. If you look at the tombstones when they're in "modern time" at the graveyard, you can see Quincy Endicott's name. Hinting that they were there
@duuitnow That always felt more like "once you get old you get greedy and hormones make you horny". But it has been 3 years since I saw it and I don't remember it that well.
@duuitnow Not sure about the satan part. But the rest checks out and is what I was thinking, as they are trying to escape death in all scenes that are not in real world.

This show is hauntingly beautiful. I love how creative it is. It learns all the right lessons from Adventure Time without being derivative of it in any way.
I hope they make more.
The beast is a metaphor for time and age, right?
