7.5/10 - Likely not something for Power Rangers fans but I enjoyed the classical teen high-school "drama" part/story. I think the scene where Jason stood up against the bully during detention was my favorite one. The teen characters are diverse and interesting (each in their own unique way) and I enjoyed watching them bond as a team.
The robot AI at the spaceship was also fun.
Now to the negative parts. The Power Rangers scenes felt pretty boring comparted to how good they could/should have been. The CGI felt pretty basic (did they have a low budget?), the designs weren't that great (many elements looked like plastic which made their armors and zerks(?) feel like toys, and even the directing felt lacking during the final 30 minutes (weird songs/soundtracks, bad/silly acting, and everything suddenly seemed to target children while previous parts where focused on teenagers). And obviously there where few Power Rangers scenes.
The Bumblebee joke was a bit funny but it was kinda on them when they brought the Pacific Rim version of Optimus Prime to the screen... :D
Anyway, as long as one doesn't expect this to be focused on Power Rangers and likes the teen characters it can be quite enjoyable.
