I haven't noticed it last time, but "The Hateful Eight" has many elements in common with "Reservoir Dogs". It's just twice as long, half as compelling. The individual scenes work; they are just buried underneath layers of self-indulgence and sketchy dialogues. No complaints about the photography, direction, and cast, except Tim Roth who kind of looked and sounded like a second-class Christoph Waltz.
