Glory's introduction gets a 5/10 for me, but the rest of the episode made up for it. The gang are in a new place (literally that is: the magic shop) and they feel a lot more natural together than the past 10 or so episodes, more scenes are taking place at night, and in actual locations instead of fake sets that look like fake sets. Ravil Isyanov is a grade-A actor and was vital to making the scenes at the end carry the weight that they did. The last scene, with Buffy and Dawn, was genuinely heartfelt, and is just what this show needed.

Begrudgingly, I have to admit that I liked Spike and his scene. I'm so over Riley. Captain Cardboard indeed, lol.
