The one thing that annoyed me: The door to the cabin. It opens towards the outside in several scenes before she decides to barricade it... Which as you might expect is pointless for a pull door. The crooks even try to kick it in even though all they need to do is pull it open.
Knowing that there's some other stuff that doesn't really make sense when you think of it but I guess that can be forgiven by believing the characters have a certain code. Whether or not that could would - in reality - hold up back in those days I'm not quite sure of.
Maybe that's a good analogy of the movie: this film is like the open door, if only they had locked things down a little better they didn't have to run around the cabin (beat around the bush) that much.
