Welllll... At least Esther and Babington got their happy and well deserved ending. I know I'm glad about that. They're two of the best and most compelling characters on the show. Also, this is probably the first and only episode where I wasn't slightly irritated by the music score. It was actually quite beautiful and very fitting for every scene. Unlike the rest of the episodes.
Sigh... I wish we could've seen Sidney's time in London with Eliza. I HATE that it happened off screen. I need to know more about the what and how and why. Because for now it kinda doesn't make sense. It feels like a rushed and incomplete ending. Probably it was done to ensure a second season. I mean it was OBVIOUS to her that Sidney no longer wanted to be with her. Any self respecting lady would lend or give him the money. Especially if she truly loves him like she claims. She'd want to help save his family. I guess she really meant it when she said she'd waited 10 years for them to be together. Come what may. Even if it means trapping him in a marriage he no longer wants to be in. Ugh. Poor Sidney. AND POOR CHARLOTTE. They almost got their happy ending.
