I thought this was a step down from the first episode. Some of the writing/dialogue feels very 'off' and not good, especially between the characters conspiring in 'future London'. I audibly cringed in the opening minutes when they started talking about the 'dark web' in that annoying generic way that every show seems to these days - it just seems like some edgy throw away comment rather than really being anything of substance: "How did you achieve x thing?", "I went to the dark web!" Awfully convenient and straight-up bad writing.

It seems I was right about my initial prediction/theory of Flynne piloting a body/robot rather than being in a virtual world - didn't expect the time travel aspect though. I think Flynne is an interesting character, and I like most of the scenes with her in them, but I think the show is pretty generic, dull, and not very well written in terms of most other characters and plot lines. I didn't think the action at the start of the episode was too great either.

This show still has potential, and there's a lot of interesting stuff that's going on/being hinted at, but as to how much the show plays into those parts remains to be seen. Will continue watching because despite the issues, it's still entertaining and it's something a little different.
