1x03 - Haptic Drift: 7.8/10 (Impressive)

As with the other two episodes, this week's instalment of “The Peripheral” is an entertaining watch. This episode had an almost noir-like atmosphere, and Chloë Grace Moretz delivers a stellar performance throughout. The pace never wavered. So far, I've been quite pleased by the show's ability to strike a good balance of action. There are enough thrilling sequences to keep audiences engaged without detracting from or muddying the story. I find this episode’s central theme—the connection of humans and its possible effects—to be intriguing, and I can't wait to see how it develops. The bigger questions remain unanswered. Both the what and the why are buried in mystery. The upcoming episodes have me curious about the story's progression.
