6.5/10 - It started off really great (8/10) but unfortunately it got worse from there on... :o
The Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Evo seem like really cool and lovely cars (I've never had the pleasure to drive either of them but I've often seen them and they look both cool and very capable).
I was glad that they didn't immediately began to destroy stuff. Then came this stupid cave tunnel challenge and the Evo crash. At first I thought it was scripted but apparently they were stupid enough to give it all on the first run? (I once did something like this IRL but I did break earlier than I thought necessary for a safety buffer and it was against a soft blockade that would've only damaged the car (low risk for me).) Anyway, I guess it's good that James' fine then.
What I didn't like: The unnecessary shenanigans, ruining the pizza with salt and coke (you don't play with food! - it's less destructive than the other stuff but I still don't like it), the completely unnecessary destruction of those "houses", etc.
And that poor Evo btw... :o
Anyway, I decided to go from the solid 8 to a 6.5 but tbh I should even go down to a 6 for those end credits images.
I feel like a spoilsport but I don't like this cheap (and kinda entitled) humor. There are enough YouTube channels that produce much more interesting car related content at a much lower budget (and with an actual focus on cars - this show is more focused on the scenery, dumb ideas, and the three hosts). Oh, and of course it sucks that almost all of it feels/seems scripted!
