I know why they did the clip episodes. (Besides saving some money) That was before YouTube and before DVDs. People probably enjoyed such an episode back then as much as people today enjoy some highlights videos on YouTube. Plus, people back then didn't binge the season. Some of the clips are from episodes that aired months ago. But today this concept feels totally odd. Ranked by today's standards, this episode is superfluous and boring. They didn't not even show the best clips.
